A couple years ago I brought my childhood Pokemon card collection to this location. (Mostly B&W and XY era) At the time I didn’t and hadn’t collected in years. So I brought all my cards to this shop and asked the guy working there what he’d be willing to give me. Before I get too into it, he did take out all my ultra rares and inspected them. So I gotta give him credit for being thorough. However he proceeded to tell me that almost all my cards were damaged and he would give me 50% TCGplayer market value of each card for the condition that it was in. At the time I thought that was fair, but since then I’ve actually gotten back into collecting and I now realize I was pretty much ripped off. A lot of those cards were in the moderately played condition, and some lightly played. Now there were probably a handful of cards that were heavily played, but none were damaged. The most wear that was present on the cards was some whitening starting to show on the edges and sides. I kept all my cards in binders, even when I was younger and I never played the TCG. I get that they have business to run, but I wasn’t treated fairly. The guy saw me coming from a mile away, I wish he had been honest with me. It still makes my stomach churn knowing how much money I lost by giving those cards away like I did. So if you wanna sell your cards to this shop, more power to you. And don’t get me wrong they were very friendly. I just suggest you inform yourself a little on card condition before you walk in...
Read moremy favorite card shop by far, they have a small space of 3 large tables to sort through hundreds of boxes of different tcg franchise - or play as well of course! ... this place is seriously a hidden gem, it does have it's busier hours but the service time is always super reasonable then. At the time of this review, they dont have a lot of magic staff so sometimes takes a bit longer in those busy hours. otherwise, I am yet to see a person go unnoticed by staff if they are in need of a product. Im an introvert so I prefer the smaller environment of the tables, you might not find a lot of people playing but the tables were a recent deleopment so just needs time to grow in the scene ! ^^
The card shop is located in the front section of the vape shop now. I have seen some.. questionable reviews saying that this place is not kid friendly because they have a connected store shut off by an archway, very clear separate shops! If you just dont want to be in that environment, or have kids you dont want in that environment, there are no vapes on display in the front...
Read moreI’ve been to a lot of Card stores in my life. This is probably my favorite. The guy Justin working here was incredibly nice. I was able to get a $100 charizard from celebrations for trades and 4 spare dollars. If you drive in and don’t see a sign for this place, don’t be alarmed it’s right through the vape shop. Don’t let that turn you off either the vape shop itself is spotless and not at all grungy. Just walk to the back and there’s a little threshold. Inside is the card shop. They have magic the gathering Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokémon. Pokémon of course being the main attraction. Best of all they have metazoo. I picked up a wilderness first edition spell book for $30 which is $10 under the recommended price of $40. They also had wilderness 1st edition and Cryptid nation 2nd edition pre release kits. If you’re in the area and like any of these games it’s on your best...
