Conduit — Attraction in Winter Park

Attended Fires in the Distance, Dark Tranquillity, and Amorphis concert there. Overall I give the venue a 2/5 star rating for the following reasons:

Extremely poor air circulation, especially near the stage. The place was a sauna tonight. It was so bad that a young woman fainted from what appeared to be heat exhaustion. People were pouring sweat, when mixed with poor circulation meant the place did not smell pleasant at all. I also feel like this attributed to a lot of people leaving early.

Handicapped people are given bar stools and sat near the patio entrance way away from the stage. This means that during the concert you are basically staring at the back of people since the floor is completely level and part of your view is blocked by a wall partition. On top of that, if you have back/hip problems, you would understand just how uncomfortable it is to be left with these options for five hours. I've been to numerous venues in Georgia, Alabama, and Illinois similar to this place and all of them are way more accommodating without taking up any significant portion of the

All other features (bathrooms, acoustics/sound quality, etc...) are about average compared to similar venues. The cost of admission was slightly higher than what I usually pay at similar venues.

It's definitely the worst concert venue I've been to, but not so bad it deserves one star. However, it was bad enough that I would definitely reconsider going for some bands that I like, but don't love as in most venues I've been to, I will go to see bands I like because in general I love the atmosphere...

I had a great night at conduit seeing deserted will perform. The band was amazing. Here’s why I will never return to this establishment and will warn all others. I purchased 3 separate drinks and closed out after each transaction and kept my card in my possession the entire time. After leaving the bar my card was charged an additional $49.17 which closed out someone else’s tab! After reaching out to management (which isn’t easy the phone goes to a voicemail that has not been set up) I finally got ahold of someone in management who sent me copies of the fraudulent receipts and after I informed them these are not my purchases and asked how this could’ve happened all communication ended. This is not a responsible bar and if you are going to go only bring cash because they obviously kept my card info even though I refused to open a tab. I’m now disputing with my bank and have no solution provided by conduit. Severely...

Really cool venue. We saw a metal show there. The security employees were professional and polite. The interior is really cool and the merch area is very easily accessible, they have an outdoor patio area with tables and seats. However, I have back issues and we were never able to find anywhere to sit at all during our 2 and a half hours there, the patio was the only seating and the seats were always occupied. I wish they at least had chairs at the bar because sitting at the bar would have been nice, and they honestly probably would have gotten more alcohol sales from us. We had to leave before the headliner due to back pain from inability to sit at all. I understand they are working with a large crowd with limited space, and that is possibly why they don't have chairs at the bar. Overall a cool...
