NAPA Auto Parts - Hometown Auto Parts — Attraction in Wood-Ridge

This review should be 10 stars because for one, NAPA Hometown Auto Parts in Wood-Ridge N.J, near Teterboro Airport, surprised me with their knowledgeable and personal attentiveness regarding a simple battery purchase for my Acura TL. The very value I received was unlike any other auto store or dealer I had called, and the reason, it is a family owned business for over 40 years, with a passion and caring for what they do, and the customers they serve. Furthermore, during my initial phone call to Napa Hometown Auto Parts, I was treated by a professional who was able to recommend the best solution for my car, which happened to be a higher quality battery, for less money, with a longer warranty, then others quoted me, whom I had previously called.

When I arrived, I wasn't surprised to see a very clean, organized, and expansive ( not expensive ) store and inventory. I was welcomed by second generation member who had helped me on the phone, and noticed patriarch close at hand, along with other big dogs, I mean real dogs, like one, Walker, a very sweet, well seasoned & nourished, red dutch Labrador who got up to greet me.

Getting down to business, on this coldish, dark, sleet swept night, it was very much nearing closing time. However, with great patience and diligence, my existing battery was tested, and the replacement installed, complete with modest explanation and education about the old and new. The whole experience over-met my expectations, and furthermore, I paid less for the battery then I thought I would, and at the same time, received a valuable referral to a reliable, honest auto mechanic, that was located not too far from where I live.

NAPA Hometown Auto Parts has always taken care of me throughout the years. Whether it's replacing headlamp bulbs, putting on new wiper blades, or even a battery change, I've never trusted my car with any other auto parts place. All of the guys are very professional and have the right parts for the job every time or, if they don't have them immediately available, they know how to get them. Brandon will usually handle replacing a necessary part on my vehicle, but today Nick took care of changing out my wiper blades. Thank you for helping me keep my car at its best! The owner seemed nice, and they had the bar battery I needed. However, they refused to install the battery because it was a few minutes before 6pm, and that's "when they go home." Instead, I was told to come back another day. I mentioned that I left work early and fought through bad traffic to make it by 6pm and returning another day would not be easy. I offered to install the battery myself as long as he would stick around for me to return the old one. The owner wouldn't stay open for an additional 5 minutes to let me do this.
