**Owner replied and was a trooper about the banter. Changing my rating from a 4 to a 5. Humor aside, the location is really fun, and the staff were great at keeping morale and accommodating us as needed.
Generally fun time, and super nice staff. Only dinking a star for one reason. There are really talented hobbyists that come to the facility often, called "Dailies". People that shoot you so quick from crazy angles, you think Chris Kyle is still alive.
Unfortunately, a group of 10+ friends and I booked an evening slot on a weekend, which is a typical session for them. We were on our own team, and got so demolished within the first two matches that they had to swap some members. The staff didn't properly swap all of the duos, so I was left in the jungles of Vietnam against whispering trees without my boyfriend lol.
Most of the Dailies were on the team opposite from myself, paired with some of my petite female friends. The staff emphasize there is to be absolutely "NO RUNNING" or you get sat out, or even kicked out. This rule generally did not apply to anyone, but especially so for our Navy Seal counterparts. They almost barreled through my friends on numerous occasions. Imagine Betty White (RIP) getting bodied by peak Lawrence Taylor.
Tl;dr: Large group? Go during a weekday or book a private event. If not, prepare to enter the thunderdome against players that I can only imagine will be the first to get drafted once the army gets ahold of...
Read moreI wish I could give them a 5 star. I came here a few months back and had the time of my life. I decided to come back with another new group and show them this cool place. We were given a captain which is a worker of there's too explain everything and lead us around, he had no idea what the games were about. He was explaining things but once we would ask a question he would just ignore it. My team wanted to split up and do our own strategies and he wouldn't allow us too. He said we couldn't do that and yelled for us to follow him. Mind you he wasn't any good at all at the games either. There was a game about 50 total lives and he wasted mostly all of them that even the opponent captain had to tell him to back off the game. He was walking around and our friend in the opposite team was telling us he was just saying "if you wanna kill me that's fine I don't care, just shoot me" mind you this is our captain. Final game, one of our teammates gun wouldn't work and we were looking for our captain and no help at all until the end and we asked for a rematch and they said they were out of time. When we arrived we waited 10 min for them to finish an event and than they stopped our event 10 min before. A 90min session turned into a 70min session. I was highly disappointed during this visit. Hopefully they hire better employees that would actually hype the energy between the team and actually help out and know the rules and...
Read moreHonestly if youâre into serious laser tag you will have a good time. I was invited here for a get together with friends and was expecting more of a fun game in the dark with different colored lasers and vests. Instead there was 7 pound âlaser gunsâ and you needed to shoot at head bands. There was no way of telling who was on your team other than remembering faces. They did a good job of explaining the game and changing the games every 5 minutes. But the guy explaining the directions was a little too in character in my honest opinion. I felt like I was being screamed at and when he said âany questions!!?â It was as if we were screamed at and couldnât even process the information. Also the people that work there play on your teams and I also felt like I was being yelled at too much to âkeep goingâ. Too serious for me. So I think a lot of people enjoyed it, and many will enjoy, however it is not for me. I donât like being yelled at . Plus it was hot . Not sure if...
