My fiance took me here to get a bracelet for my upcoming birthday. There were two bracelets that we had found online that I wanted to try on. We looked at the reviews online and it sounded like a great place to shop from! Upon arrival, there was security at the door which made me feel very safe and the inside of the shop was gorgeous. The jewelry on display was so beautiful and the layout of the shop was so cool. Unfortunately, for whatever reason the sales woman that we got paired with did not treat me with kindness and I'm not sure why. In the beginning she was nice when she brought us upstairs to look at the bracelets I wanted but things turned sour fast. I was going to try the first bangle on, she got upset with how I was putting it on like I was doing something wrong and grabbed my hand and shoved in onto my hand herself and says "you need to do it this way". Her facial expression, the way she sighed and did all of that quickly made me feel bad like I'm doing something wrong. The bracelet was pretty but I wasn't dead set on it yet. I wanted to see more so we looked at the second one I was interested in and same thing, I was putting it on wrong so she made a face again and shoved it on my wrist no different than I was. Thats when I started to get irritated. I was reluctant to try other pieces on based off of her attitude like I'm going to break it. She then started showing me all of these different bracelets that were completely out of our budget. She would make a face and mumble things to herself when I would say I didn't like the design or that it was over budget. This continued on for about 10 minutes until I finally told my fiancé I wanted to leave and go somewhere else. She was showing me things that I didn't want and then getting frustrated with me that I didn't want them. She started aggressively putting the bracelets onto the table. Everything about her body language, facial expressions, and behavior was showing me that she did not like me and was aggravated like she is doing me some kind of favor. I finally said to her "i'm sorry I feel like I'm wasting your time and I can see that you're getting upset. Are you upset? " and then she just said "I'm waiting" and put out her hand waiting for me to take the bracelet off and give it to her. Even when I ask her if she's upset she didn't even deny it so I know that my radar was totally on point that she doesn't like me and was annoyed with me from the beginning. We ended up leaving and going to a different jewelry store down the street. It was RK Jewels. They let me try on as many bracelets as I wanted and served me with a smile the whole time. Not once was I corrected on how I was putting on or taking off the bracelets. I ended up buying two bangles from them and did end up going over budget like the sales woman here wanted me to so that she could get her commission. I might've gotten something more expensive here if she would've treated me with patience and kindness. Please treat people more kindly. I think this was just a one off situation because the reviews here are wonderful. I was not expecting to have this experience at all and I'm really disappointed with how it went today. I attached a photo of the first bangle...
Read moreOur family had been using Tanishq for their trust in this brand for years. However, I gave Tanishq so many starts based on their amazing pricing, amazing business model, amazing customer support and robust IT team.
Tanishq price for 1.2 Carat stud ear ring set was $39,047 Vs Market price was found to be only $15,097
Tanishq price for a 12 Carat diamond Neckless was $67,629 while the Market price was found to be only $35,000
Amazing Business Model:- Tanishq has amazing buy back policy that they will buy their jewelry back but at a lower price, minus the making charges, only if you want to exchange the jewelry with another Tanishq jewelry. In the process you will loose around 25-30% of the value, and in exchange you will get another piece of their trusted brand jewelry with latest designs. They are so kind to their customers, that they make sure the customers donât land up loosing around 75-80% of the values in case they decide to sell Tanishq jewelry out there in open market, where poor customers will loose the premium price Tanishq charged at the time of original purchase.
Amazing Customer Care:- Tanishq headquarters generates a reference number for each message they receive and immediately provide that number to the customers, promising to resolve the issues soon after involving the regional offices or the exhibition teams. I got automated responses that my issue will be resolved by next trunk show and we had already waited for two trunk shows in a hope of some decision from Tanishq. Visiting the showroom can not be advisable as the managers at the showroom had no authority to make any decisions. I found the managers personally very kind and supportive but no authority to resolve the issues.
Robust IT team:- If any customer is beyond unhappy with the replies they received from customer care and wish to post on social media, donât worry.. Tanish USA got your back.. Their robust IT team will make sure your posts get blocked or taken down by the group admins and get your account suspended so that you would never be able to post anything in those Indian or Desi groups.
I couldnât praise any more to this brand trusted by entire India, and encourage buyers to feel the joy themselves. Every Indian must feel proud purchasing jewelry from this brand for their...
Read moreIf youâre shopping for Indian jewelry and want something that feels a little more refined and unique, Tanishq in Edison is definitely worth checking out. They have one of the most thoughtfully put-together collections in Edison, with standout pieces for both men and women. Whether itâs for a wedding, a special event, or just something you want to wear and love long-term, youâll find styles here you probably wonât see elsewhere.
What really made the experience smooth for me was working with Rupali. I first inquired online and she got back to me the very next day â professional, kind, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. She answered every question I had, sent photos and pricing info, and helped me narrow things down based on exactly what I was looking for. She followed up without being pushy and made the whole process feel easy and low-stress. If youâre going, definitely ask for her â she made a big difference.
The store is clean, well-organized, and has two floors, with most of the inventory upstairs. As soon as you walk in, someone is assigned to help you, which makes the whole experience more focused and less chaotic â especially if you go on a busy weekend. Iâve been there both on a quiet weekday and a packed Saturday, and the staff was helpful each time.
Just know upfront: Tanishq is expensive. The making charges are higher and more fixed than at other places in Edison. When I asked about a discount, I was told prices are set by Tata, but they did try to work with me where they could, which I appreciated. Itâs definitely on the pricier side, but if youâre looking for something special and want peace of mind with the quality and service, it may be worth it.
They also offer 10% off on your anniversary and 5% off on your birthday, which is a nice bonus if the timing works out.
Parking can be a little tight on weekends, but thereâs a lot behind the store that usually has space. On slower days, itâs a quick and easy visit.
I even had to make an exchange and they made an exception to their regular return and refund policy to help me out which was very telling of the positive customer experience.
All in all, if youâre looking for a smooth experience and jewelry that feels a little more special, Tanishq is a great option â just go in knowing the pricing reflects the brand. And if you can, work with Rupali â she really made it easy along with the rest...
