Paolucci Jewelers — Attraction in Woodridge

After an absolutely terrible experience at Jared Jewelers in Bolingbrook, several people on Facebook STRONGLY suggested I go to this jeweler.

I am SO glad I did! The proprietors, Tom and Mary are nice, accommodating and above all, very honest and fair! From the minute I walked in with my inexpensive repair, I was made to feel I was as important as someone buying a 5 carat diamond ring.

Both are so knowledgeable about their trade, too. Tom forewarned me about a piece of my gold jewelry that was wearing down, and that I may want to consider getting it beefed up with more gold in the near future.

There were no scare tactics, no pressure to take care of it today, just an honest jeweler's insight and good advice.

After spending time with the owners, I feel there is more to the one star reviews some people gave... I used to be in business and I've learned that you just can't make some people happy, no matter how hard you try. I have to think those bad reviews came from people who walked in with an attitude.

These are the nicest people and they are fair. Only charged me $8 for what Jared wanted $99.

When you need jewelry, whether new or repaired, at least go meet with them and see for yourself. You don't have to buy from them, but I'm pretty sure you will and be glad you did!

My fiancé bought a beautiful engagement ring and wedding Band from Paolucci Jewelers , my fiancé spent a lot of time picking it out & told them my occupation which is rough on rings.They told him I can bring it by as often as I wanted to have it cleaned and tightened and fixed if needed because of this He felt comfortable spending a lot for the ring.He didn’t know he would be diagnosed with a form of terminal cancer weeks after proposing to me. Thankfully he is in remission and we’re praying cure! Unfortunately the ring had a couple small diamonds fall out a couple of times. The last time I brought it back the owner was enraged, he belittled me about the condition of my ring. He did fix it and made it beautiful again BUT to Tell me or should I say Yell at me to NEVER bring the ring back again. He would no longer service it.I wore my ring every day it holds such special meaning to me . Now I can not!! I bought a fake ring which looks similar to mine..My Beautiful engagement ring sits locked away I wonder when we get married if my wedding band will have to be a fake imitation as well because they will refuse to service it? I would NOT Recommend buying...

Went in last week to get a price for repairs on an antique ring that I have. I had been at Jared a few days before and they wanted almost $1,000 to fix it. Also, they kept trying to get me to sign up for a credit card. When I went in to Paolucci's I was helped right away by Tom who was very friendly as well as very knowledgeable. He said the price would only be $90. What a huge savings! Of course I was nervous about leaving it there but Tom took the time to show me the ring through the magnifier and point out several unique areas on the diamond. That way I would know when I got it back that the diamond hadn't been changed. What a great idea. The ring was ready within just a few days and looks absolutely beautiful!.
