They definitely want to upsell you. The areas I asked to be addressed over the phone and in person, they did not address but told me on my way out that I would have to purchase a 90 minute massage for them to rub my lower back and feet next time. I specifically asked them if they would be able to focus on my lower back, hands, ankles, and feet. And they focused on my upper back primarily. During the massage I reminded the massage therapist of the areas I needed rubbed three times, she said ok I will do. I just kept saying to myself, ok she will get to those in a minute, be patient. Then she said massage was done. When I mentioned the areas that were missed (lower back, ankles, feet, hands) they said I needed to purchase a 90 minute package next time. She rubbed my upper back, so hard, and for so long I had to get a chiropractic adjustment. I was in more pain. I figured it was a language barrier or a scam but gave her a tiny tip in good faith for her efforts. I work in a hospital providing patient care and I'm on my feet for 12 hours a day. I also work a lot with my hands getting patients what they want and need. Like anyone else who is a public servant, I need some self care. She refused to rub the two areas of my palm that are hurting along with my lower back and feet, which are used a lot daily. I care for others and my feelings were disregarded. If your work in the medical field and have real soreness, don't go here.
My massage therapist just didn't like me I guess. I don't know what I did to warrant how the service...
Read moreSomething is very off about this place. I tried it based on the reviews, but hated the entire hour I was there. Nothing relaxing about it- first impression was the horrible hard table without a head rest so that you can breathe face down, just a thin cheap sheet and a paper napkin to place your face on, no music playing so just the noise of the front door chiming and the phone ringing, and a crusty old overstuffed love seat was in the massage room for who knows what reason. She kept reaching her hand into a Costco tub of coconut oil, which absolutely could not be sanitary. The lady giving me the massage kept leaving the room during the massage to go grab things down the hall and didn’t seem to have any training on massage techniques. She did not speak a word of English, and her face looked so incredibly sad that I was left with the impression that she was being forced...
Read moreI went to Healing Oasis Spa this afternoon and had a great experience. Recently, I’ve been experiencing a lot of lower back, shoulder and neck pain. I booked a 60 minute Deep Tissue Massage Online. When I arrived, the staff was very friendly and courteous and promptly led me into a private room. Before my session, I explained to the massage therapist the different areas where I was experiencing pain. She was very professional and demonstrated a great deal of expertise and skill as she manipulated the different muscle groups. The massage was very intense, but not painful. The last part of the session, the therapist used hot stones which was very soothing. This was the best massage I have ever had. I highly recommend Healing Oasis Spa! Thank you so...
