So my wife and kids were booked here by a travel agent. We had high expectations based on the reviews and the proudly displayed 4 Star plaques all over the lobby. My wife and one daughter checked in before me and the other daughter and she asked the receptionist about our dogs...two dachshunds and a labrador. The receptionist either didn't hear her or understand. They took the two dogs to the room, no issue. I showed up an hour later with the very calm big dog and asked where the elevator was. I received a blank stare and then you have a dog? Which I replied to yes....we are in room 509, my wife already checked in. Answer, but we didn't know you had a dog....to which I replied, yes, that's why we booked this hotel as you are pet friendly.... So the wife came back down, formally registered all 3 dogs and we were told the fee would be $60 a night for pets. Fine, no issue, we are on a corporate relocation. The next day, a different woman tells us it's going to be $60 per dog...and only two dogs are allowed... Let's get our story right. So we still aren't sure if we are getting charged $180 tonight.

Service - dinner was fantastic, great food and service at Cerus. Breakfast? Not the same at the same place! Continental included and horrible service and lack of food out at 7:30am. First we couldn't find a clean table, then we had to ask for multiple things, wait for coffee, ask for cream, take silverware from other tables, take sugar from another table, ask for bagels to replenished. Get your breakfast at LaQuinta and you'll be happier.

If you get a room in the tower, there's only one horribly slow elevator. There's only ice on the third floor. The room keys are constantly deactivated. We've been to the desk no less than 5 times to get keys fixed. Great after going to your room on the slow elevator only to have to go back downstairs and then come back up. The staff also uses the very slow elevator as there isn't a separate staff elevator. Great getting on the elevator with bags of trash. Free wireless is painfully slow, just pay for the upgrade.

I have more things such as calling to get extra sheets, but I'm sure everyone now gets the point. How this place has achieved multiple years (including 2016) 4 Star ratings is a mystery to us. Looks like we need to extend for a third night, but we'll be packing up and going somewhere else. Marriott here we come.....
