One of the worst hospital experiences of my life. I stayed on one of the adolescent units and it was awful. Neglectful and borderline emotionally abusive staff. Super unprofessional too. I would hear them gossiping about clients, one showed me a video on their phone which shouldn’t have even been out, of them vaping with another staff. One took calls for other jobs while watching the kids during his shift. The staff were also very invalidating and cold at times. Client atmosphere was just as bad, I was bullied a lot and the staff didn’t do much. Lots of gossiping and talking bad about one another, constant threats to hurt one another, it always felt very hostile. The tension on the unit was often so thick you could cut through it.
