Kohl’s has the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my entire life! I have been a Kohl’s card carrying customer since 1985 - that’s 38 years that I have bought merchandise at Kohl’s. Since May I have tried multiple times to get them to correct my social security number in their system. 3 times I faxed in copies of my license and social security number and all 3 times I got a letter saying the images were blurry - in spite of the fact that my fax copies were ALL PERFECTLY LEGIBLE! I was told to fax them in rather than mail a copy as it would be safer. I talked to several customer service representatives and a supervisor to no avail. Even though they acknowledged that my social security number had been entered incorrectly in their system! Finally, I had had enough and called a week ago and told them to cancel my credit card. Today I received a letter in the mail stating “your recent application for a Kohl’s credit card account has not been approved because I already have an existing Kohl’s account!!!! What the heck? Unbelievable!! I called the customer service number on the letter today and asked to speak supervisor. The girl “Andrea” said she couldn’t connect me with a supervisor via her computer (I was on hold for 15 minutes) and ultimately she told me she would have the supervisor call me back. She was ready to hang up and I asked if she had my phone number? No she didn’t, she didn’t even know my name! I had to give her both. And of course, the supervisor never called me back! I am so utterly disgusted with this whole mess! Four months of trying to have Kohl’s fix the issue and ZERO help! There are many other stores I can purchase what I need. I’m...
Read moreAround closing time, my friend and I entered Sephora and were greeted immediately by Michelle, who asked us right away if we needed help. Keon/Keyon also assisted us by kindly pointing us to the Fenty Beauty section. Both Michelle and Keon helped us find our shade matches and made us feel incredibly confident and reassured with our foundation shade by making sure we had the right match. We came in right before closing and despite them working on their closing procedures, they both still took time to ensure we left as satisfied and confident customers. I even asked both of them if they were both managers because they acted incredibly professional and I noticed they were both helping multiple customers while tidying up the store simultaneously. If anyone deserves a raise, it’s those two! They both simultaneously multitasked closing the store up and helped customers at the same time while maintaining with such a positive attitude. Also, they were friendly and made sure we were well informed about the makeup we were purchasing because we didn't know where to start, so they patiently answered any questions we had while also providing us with suggestions and their recommendations. As someone who worked as a manager in retail for 6 years, I can definitely appreciate hard workers who provide excellent customer service, and these two workers exceed the standard. I was impressed. Those two know how to work well under pressure and get the job done in more ways than one. I loved them! I will definitely be back, I left with a smile on my face because of their service! Thank you both! Please promote them or consider giving them a...
Read moreI like this Kohls. It's always neat & clean. The staff is more then helpful. My criticism is they don't have a child is missing alert system in place! Normally in big stores when a child goes missing the 1st thing, call 911, lock all doors, mall & street, then all staff starts looking. I was shopping with my gson he was in an umbrella stroller. He liked to sit in them. When my 4 year old grandson went missing. I was yelling at them to lock the doors. They said WHY? I WAS STUNNED. Why do you think! No one can get him out of here. 3 employees looked at his picture but never went to look 4 him. I was going down a main aisle in a panic. An employee stepped out from appliances and said is this the little boy everyone is looking 4. I screamed yes. I wondered later how many small kids did that guy see walking around alone! So he didn't go on a mike or tell management, he just slowly walked out. Geez! My grandson had to go to the washroom, so he did. He was found Thank God, in the department outside the washroom. I explained to him in a calm voice, you can go all by yourself now, but not in public, you never leave grandma. The security gets worse. The management told me their security cameras don't go below 3 or 4 feet. I don't remember which. This was a few years ago, maybe they have woken up. I say if you bring a child in Ridge Mall Hang on to them really tight. It's Christmas time. Hang on to who you're...
