I came here to pierce my daughter‘s ears. I figured I would go to a doctor and it’d be better rather than going to the mall but boy was I wrong. When we got there, there was only a selection of two different pairs of gold earrings and I ended up going with the pink pearl. Somehow my daughter ended up going home with the all gold earrings. But not even that besides having to wait for a doctor, the nurse got there first to mark my daughter‘s ears, but she asked me if I wanted to do it myself. I didn’t feel confident in marking her ears because I figured they would know how to do it so I told her to just do what she could. She ended up doing a good job but one that was larger than the other so when the doctor came And try to pierce that ear, he would ask me if that seemed good, but since my baby was moving around and fussy, cause she was being held down I wasn’t really able to notice if it was right so he went ahead and did it and now One is lower than the other. Honestly, save your money and go to the mall instead

Stopped in as a walk-in on a Saturday morning. My child was complaining of an earache. They checked us in and we were meeting with Dr Menendez in less than 15 minutes after arriving. Dr Menendez confirmed an ear infection, sent the Rx to our pharmacy and we were out in a little over 30 minutes. The clinic is clean and inviting for children. My child enjoyed looking at the aquarium, sitting on the animals but especially enjoyed the theatre seating area and the unicorn themed waiting room. On our way out, she asked if we could come back to this clinic the next time she's not feeling well.

Sent my daughter home with no medication after she came in with a swollen red ear. They said it was an insect bite and to put “ice” on it which sounds crazy. This morning she woke up and her ear is larger and more inflamed! I am now getting an appointment with her primary pediatrician! This is so frustrating bc if they necessary care or prescribed her with something, the swelling would be reduced.

Dr. Michelle was the only good thing about this place. I’ve never had an issue with medical assistants. They were pleasant. Most of the doctors are absolutely clueless as well as front desk and even the admin. I was told I couldn’t get therapies written on an rx pad “only medications go on there”. It’s laughable. After an entire year of follow up visits none of the doctors realized my son was measuring in the grey and black areas for fine motor and gross motor development (luckily, I had initiated early intervention with the help of my daycare) when I told Dr. rawda (whom I’ve literally only met ONCE) we had therapists he thought it was his staff who referred us. No, your staff continuously overlooked those Questionnaires. My son has a nutritionist and she interviewed us for an hour and decided that the rashes my baby had was an allergic reaction to cows milk and immediately switched our formula… at my baby’s one year check up I noticed the screen that said to ask for an allergy test to be ordered so of course I did (mind you not once did any of the clinical staff recommend this for us). Anyway, We got an allergy test ordered for my son and I was told medical staff would call me and let me know results, I waited two days before calling for results and left a message, no return phone call. On the third day I made an account with quest and was able to access the results myself to see my son had cows milk and egg white allergies.. I called again 5 days later to have the results explained and left a message with NO RETURN CALL once again. On the 8th day I called again and after telling the airhead front desk employee how serious it can get she transferred me to the nurse practitioner who explained the allergies and ordered an Epi pen for us and then told me to call back before closing to get the information for an allergist.. when I called back, once again all clueless front desk staff had no idea what I was asking for and wanted to take a message. The fact that all staff in the office overlook something so serious as this is very alarming. I understand the pandemic caused lack of employees but for the sake and quality of care of patients how dare you not train all staff to be understanding of SIMPLE protocols.

It’s my fault entirely for even going back as much as I did. But please take this as a warning from one caring parent to another, take your children somewhere else where staff have an idea of what’s going on. Take them somewhere the doctors will spend more than 4 minutes seeing them. Take them some where they won’t get misdiagnosed with ring worms when in reality your child is having an allergic reaction to cows milk for 9 months straight. Staff is useless and doctors are just as careless.

Update: Just found at my sons NEW pediatricians office that a vaccine was given to him at his 12 month visit that is not normally administered until babies are 15 months old. Negligent...

My family and I sat in the car outside on hold with the clinic waiting for our drive thru appointment. I wound up having to go in the clinic because I was concerned they would consider us late even though we were early for our 10:45 appt. Upon checking in at 10:45 am at that point, I was told I booked a telemedicine appointment. I stated I didn’t. The girl at the desk with her long black hair down (she covered her name tag and I wish I knew what her name was because I don’t wish to include the other receptionist who was wearing a ponytail) insisted on telling me I was wrong. I then provided her with a screen shot from my phone (very glad I take those) showing I had booked a drive thru medicine appointment and showed the follow up email indicating the directions for when we came INTO the clinic. She said we would still have to wait, ok. I stated this was not ok- we shouldn’t have to wait when I clearly provided her with the facts stating the logistics of our appointment. If Dr. Rawda was scheduled to see us at 10:45 virtually why couldn’t we be seen at 10:45 for the appointment I had actually scheduled??- it didn’t make any sense. With an attitude she told me to go sit and that we would still have to wait. There were no apologies about the incorrect appointment type, for my daughters condition while we waited, or for our time. Meanwhile my daughters rash continued to grow worse in the lobby. We waited over 2 hours to get in for our 10:45 appt! Which that receptionist had later rebooked for 11:15- but we still waited until 1:00 to see a doctor! My daughter sat there trying not to itch her contact dermatitis or whatever it is for hours- we are still unsure of the rash even after seeing the doctor. She watched patients who arrived AFTER us go in, and it was very disheartening for her while she continued to wait. And the receptionists insistence that I was incorrect even after proving I was in FACT correct, was terrible customer service and did not take my daughters well being into consideration at all! Clearly the clinic has scheduling issues as well as customer service issues. I heard them apologise to other patients for their wait. We didn’t even receive an apology. My husband even thanked them at the front desk even though she had been so rude- so there was a moment that there could have been an apology for the rude treatment we received and my daughter was forced to endure. They need more considerate people at the front desk that aren’t on a power trip. This is a pediatric office, they are working with children, kindness is a necessity in my opinion. We are appreciative of medical staff during the pandemic and can be very understanding- but the rude behavior we received upon arrival and the lateness of the appointment - especially when you see later arrivals go ahead- that is unacceptable. After this experience we will be seeking another...

On September 28, my nine year old daughter was not feeling well. She was suffering from a headache, a stomach ache and what we thought might have been an ear infection. I called this clinic trying to make an appointment for my daughter to come in, but was unable to get an answer for some time finally, I was able to get through and made an appointment for 7:30 PM me and my daughter walked in at about 720 p.m. at 7:30 and African-American nurse called us in. She was very kind and decent. She did some of her initial observations and stepped out, saying the doctor will be in in a minute the doctor did not show up till at least 810. There was only one other person in the place with us one other patient, so the doctor came in. I’m discussing the situation with the doctor, and it almost felt like I was the doctor rather than the doctor being a doctor, she looked into my daughters ears said one. Oh it’s possibly red one has some liquid in it from the nose inside the nose looks swollen which we thought she might have sinus problems so I mentioned it to her that’s why she looked in the nose, I really can’t understand how , this person has a title of a doctor. Nevertheless, she sent another nurse in to swap my daughters nose and said it’s going to take 20 minutes you don’t have to wait so we will text you with the results. Another nurse came in and swapped my daughter and as she was walking out, she again repeated that the doctor will text us the results and I said then what she said all you’ll just know if it’s positive or negative I said well what about how I treat my daughter if it’s positive She just stood there smiling at me had no answer and left out after a few minutes. I figured they were supposed to be gone because they’re going to text us but they never bother to come in and say that so I walked out and asked the nice African-American nurse if we should leave she said I think the doctors gonna wait for the results. I said no the doctor said they will text us she checked and she said oh yeah you are free to leave. About 20 minutes later I received a text that said my daughter was positive for some medical term and gave me a whole list of things at this point I’m tired so I called the clinic the receptionist answered and I explain the situation and she remembered me she transferred me to the doctor. Nobody answered, I went to voicemail I called back within seconds and they stopped answering the phone. It was 20 minutes till closing so they waited, letting the phone ring over and over closed and went home with not a care in the world for my daughter. These people who are supposed to be healthcare, workers who’s are supposed to have humanity in them have no humanity. I will never set foot in this place again and I advise everyone to be careful who goes in there , I’m suspicious of these people are even doctors. Shame...
