Yelm Cinemas — Attraction in Yelm

I absolutely love this theater.

It is so vastly DIFFERENT from the big corporate theaters where they stuff you in there like a can of sardines.

First thing that I love is reserved seating when you order your tickets online. Given the market that they serve, the theater is perfectly sized.

They have a lot of wheelchair accessible places on the same level as where you walk into the theater. They also made sure that even people with wheelchairs have a cup holder.

All the seats are leather recliners, and the back row (which is the best) also has 14 chairs, they are Leather just as the others but with swing away trays which is big enough for your bucket o popcorn, a large soda, and still enough for your cell phone.

The spacing between rows is perfect! Even with a recliner practically flat, you can still get through okay.

If you need to take a bathroom break or need to refill your bucket o popcorn then you can walk all the way down and not worry about the feeling of needing to duck. Once outside of the majority of rooms, the bathrooms are convenient. They are clean, about as big as a commercial theater, and big enough counters for your popcorn and soda if you should so choose to bring them into the restroom.

While your waiting for the movie to start, you are not flooded with ads and movie trailers. They stick to the local area for ads, and they advertise for old movies.

Pricing for tickets are great at $10 which is perfect for what you get in the theater. If you decide to add Soda and Popcorn, it is still decently priced. They carry Coke and Pepsi products, AND they even have flavorings for your popcorn.

I definitely recommend that people try this theater even if you don't live in the area. It is worth every penny!

The only reason I gave it two stars is because my children enjoy the movie. I took my family to see a movie and spent $50 on four tickets and food, however the movie did not start for another 1 1/2 hour. When I returned to pick up the food I paid for they sold out all of the nachos. So I told the cashier that provided this bad service "Mallory" that I wanted a refund for those nachos and jalapenos I paid for. Then she began to apologize for running out of nachos which is fine but should have at least offered comped us with something else. Instead she tried to sell me something else, I told her that good customer service should have been to a least offer us a free popcorn or something else for the error not try to sell me something. She just looked at me as if I was not a paying customer and walked off (not even offer to check with the manager). I'm never bringing my family back there again even though I live in Yelm I'm going...

Let me just start off by saying, This Theater was AMAZING and then some!! RECLINING LEATHER SEATS with cup holders AND armrests!!! 🤩 Great popcorn and not bad for pricing. The kids snack asst. was an incredibly affordable deal. And I mean AFFORDABLE! - FREE Refills on soda and popcorn during your movie, and that includes your choice of buttery topping, caramel dust, and more to choose from..how fun right? The bathrooms were clean and the Theater was continuously swept and disinfected. My son LOVED getting to choose where we sat for our movie, as well as what flavor to add to his soda! (he chose "vanilla" cola 😆) The staff were like little wisps you hardly noticed them as they quietly and consistently stayed busy with a smile. There are NO complaints to be addressed. This was worth more in memories than I had anticipated. We will be coming back to the movies, and more often! Thank you Yelm Cinema for your efforts...
