Old City Acres: Farm Stand & CSA — Attraction in Ypsilanti Charter Township

Old City Acres always gets my order perfect. I so appreciate having choice about either a Thurs or Sat delivery, and I am lucky to live just 2 blocks from the drop-off location in Ypsilanti (the food co-ip). I am grateful for how they draw from a number of local farmers, and thus help them too. Buying locally is a big priority for me — to help diminish climate change by reducing the amount of fuel to bring me my basic needs. Often I receive the kind of picture perfect vegetables one expects in a store, but I am really grateful when I get some crazy-shaped or huge roots and apples that have blemishes. All of the produce is amazing! Even my toddler likes OCA’s veggies more than commercial grocery stores. There are lots of yummy pantry items as well. I always stock up on spicy mike’s blends, honey/maple syrup, and teas! Ordering is really easy and they have a lot of convenient pick up locations. Looking forward to all the produce this season.
