Shawarma Chef Food Truck — Restaurant in Ypsilanti

The food is fuq'n bomb. I'd eat an entire pan of the Baklava, die in a sugar coma, and pass away a happy.

The Chicken Shawarma. Mufuq'r if I didn't look like a cr@(khead getting his fix... Absolutely spot on awesome. Maybe a little more heat... but make that an option to the shawarmas.

The Beef Shawarma. My first thought, "How in dafuq you gonna share the chicken first!?" That beef hit fuq'n home. Man, food that makes you pray.

I wasn't sure which was gonna happen first...

I didn't know if my jaw was getting tired cause the food was so good I didn't want to stop eating or if I was gonna go comatose from being so...

Great value for spicy chicken shawarma! I think he put fries in it along with the pickles & garlic sauce, which was a nice touch. The star for me was the baklava though! So good, had a slightly unique flavor (maybe orange blossom water? or maybe just a different kind of honey) delicious regardless. The owner is super friendly and kind, offered me to sample another delicious dessert (chocolate konafa i think?) which I hope to see on the menu soon...

Welcoming smile upon arrival, helpful with the menu. He gave me a taste of the lentil soup while I figured out what sandwich to order, and I was hooked. Had the Kefta and took two bowls of soup home with me.

I was also told after coming back a dozen times in a short span of time. I don't get anymore soup until I right a Google review. 😂I love local and I always appreciate great service. Thanks Rami for the new spot...
