My recent stay at Pullman Hanoi left me with mixed feelings. While the hotel boasts a convenient location and provides essential amenities, a frustrating check-in experience somewhat overshadowed the positives. Upon arrival, I encountered an issue with adding my membership number, despite the booking explicitly enabling it. The check-in lady seemed unyielding in her refusal to accommodate this request, which was disappointing. The lack of flexibility in such a matter detracted from the overall customer service experience. The room, though averagely sized, offered all the basic amenities one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. While comfortable, it lacked the luxurious touch I had anticipated from a Pullman property. The decor and furnishings seemed a bit dated, and a refresh could enhance the overall ambiance. Despite the proximity to the old town, it's worth noting that accessing it requires a taxi ride. While the distance is not excessive, the inconvenience of relying on transportation to reach the heart of Hanoi may be a consideration for travelers seeking a more centrally located accommodation. On a positive note, the hotel staff, beyond the check-in encounter, were generally friendly and accommodating. In summary, Pullman Hanoi offers a decent stay with a location that, while not in the immediate vicinity of the old town, provides reasonable access. The room, though basic, serves its purpose. However, the check-in hiccup left me with a less-than-stellar impression. With a bit more attention to customer service and perhaps some room renovations, Pullman Hanoi has the potential to elevate its guest experience.

Ambience is classy but aging. The high ceiling, marble floors, glass panelled frontage, and large art pieces of coloured apples lend a premium feel when you step into the lobby. Corridors are dull and low lit, and the facade looks like it could use some maintenance. . Service is very good. Staff ensure guests feel welcomed, and issues are quickly addressed and resolved. The staff at the executive lounge strive to meet requests, and ensure guests are well taken care. I commend the efficiency and thoroughness of the housekeeping staff, and the helpfulness of the maintenance personnel. The excellent service was a highlight. . Rooms are clean, comfortable, and cozy. I stayed at the Deluxe Executive room, which offers access to the Executive Lounge, a high-floor location with city view, complimentary laundry service, and more. . The bathroom is well stocked with toiletries, and the rain shower is good. The in-room wifi is stable and fast, and while the cable television offers a good range of channels, I wish some of it wasn't dubbed into Vietnamese. The bed is large and comfortable, and I loved lounging on the sofa chair. . The facilities and activities are above average, modern and well equipped. The meeting rooms were in regular use, and the comfortable business centre and connectivity lounge is great for facilitating networking. The gymnasium and beauty salon were well equipped, and the pool is decent enough for wading. Laundry was efficiently cleaned and folded. There's a play area for children. The only downside seems to be the condition of the tennis courts.

We stayed here for 4 nights in mid April in an King Execuitve Room with Lounge Access. There is a dedicated checkin on level 10 for all Lounge guests which was a nice touch. Room was spacious, with lounge chairs and a desk for working, and well appointed with amenities. The offering in the lounge met our needs however did not exceed them. The service with the staff was hit and miss and the consistency with guests and other staff who used the lounge after their shift, was a miss. One staff member continued to take advantage of alcohol and food passed the allowed time and when I asked, the Lounge staff member said, she was a little late so allowing her some wine and food. This didn't appear to be the same treatment of other guests. Breakfast in the lounge was a simple but ample offering and the selection of health juices was appreciated. We also believe, as is the case in most shared spaces, a policy be considered where all guests who want to use mobile devices, do so with headphones. We would consider the Pullman again should we be in Hanoi and hope the comments above can provide some improvement opportunities.

It doesn’t feel like a 5* hotel in my opinion. Arrived at the hotel but no one help me with my baggage. No staff available at the main entrance to welcome you. No staff offered to carry your luggage to room. As silver member, I could use the dedicated check in counter. But the receptionist was kept me waiting although the line was empty. She just did not aware I was standing there and waiting for check in. Restaurant staff can’t understand English. I asked for Vietnamese ice coffee, it came hot coffee. I asked cappuccino to go, they served me cappuccino for dine in. Another surprise that during breakfast they only served low fat milk. No fresh milk available. Then some minor maintenance need to be done at the room. Only one Power outlet on the table. No power outlet next to the bed. Apparently it is located next to your bed but under the table, which is not easy to reach.

I work as a pilot and stayed more than 100 hotels during last 10 years. Compared to its price Pullman Hanoi is the best hotel I have ever stayed. Let me tell you why. Many people expect everything to be perfect when they stay in a hotel but once you spend enough time in hotels you get to realize even in the most luxurious ones things can get broken, depreciate or may be they are just not your taste. In my opinion, here the game changer is the people who welcome you and comfort you when you are far away from home and your loved ones. They accommodate you, host you, and help you when you need. I want to specially thank Cuong from concierge and others in the front office for making me feel super welcomed every time I stayed here(I visited 4 times).

Had only been open about 6 months when I stayed.. I stayed in room with balcony.. bed is big and lush.. bathroom is amazing.. Breakfast, there is sooo much to choose from.. Hotel itself is beautiful.. Service was 1st class.. everyone speaks English so no worries there.. they're all dedicated to making your stay as comfortable as possible and really go out of your way..! Kids are trying to sneak some breakfast to take away as they weren't very hungry, and hotels normally refuse to let you take anything.. this place, they came up to us with boxes so kids could pack their stuff to take away.. how incredible are they..!! Def will be coming back here, and it's so central.. Rooftop bar is well with a visit in the evening..!! Fab view..!!
