When I told my friends that we were looking for a good tour to Northern Viet Nam, they recommended HaHa Travel. At first, I was a bit skeptical about this travel company, which I have never heard of, but after learning from their experience with HaHa Travel, as they had just completed a 12 days tour to North East - Hanoi, I decided to give it a go.

Our tour was planned for February 2025 but I started working on the itinerary from March 2024 with Buu Cuong, who was the Tour Operator at the time. It took 10 months to complete a 19 days itinerary from Northeast to Northwest aiming to visit most of the ethnic groups who live in mountainous and rural regions. In those 19 days, we had so much fun with lots of laughs and of course, aches and pains from climbing the mountains and long walks. It was an amazing and unforgettable journey and, according to group members, it was “The tour of a thousand experiences”, “A marvelous 19 days journey” and “Amazing 19 days of touring on the hairy scary roads”.

We were told that our itinerary would best suit the Adventure Bike Riders” as it involved many hard walking tracks that would require a moderate to high level of fitness. However, we were very lucky to still have experienced such adventure by car with the care and support from HaHa Travel Team.

On the last day, we gathered together for a brief review and to say goodbye to our skilled driver, Chien and cute tour guide, Tuan. After completing a long hard journey, everyone was still happy with their state of health. Consider our age range of sixty to seventy plus, it was a big achievement for us all. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who worked with us on this amazing trip, with special mention to:

Mr Chien, a responsible driver with many years of experience driving in Northern VietNam. Chien has good local knowledge and knows the terrain very well. Despite facing potentially dangerous roads - like the Three Great Mountain Passes - we felt safe and secure with Chien behind the wheel. We had a lot of fun singing, telling the jokes and laughing. Bravo Chien!

Hoang Tuan, a cute and enthusiastic tour guide who can perform multiple tasks. Tuan has a charming manner and always insisted on ensuring people were looked after from early morning until the last thing in the evening. As a photographer for the group, Tuan seems to know many good spots for taking photos including scenic overlooks, areas with unique architectural features and natural landscapes etc.. Great job Tuan!

Diem Huong, a quiet achiever and caring person, who worked behind the scenes to support us and ensured everything was running smoothly for our tour. Before and after the tour, Diem Huong would take on the task of checking in and sending the boarding passes to the group. It was just a small task; however, it was a nice and thoughtful gesture that was much appreciated by us all.

We also extend our thanks and appreciation to Buu Cuong who was the Tour Operator at the time. I worked with Buu Cuong throughout the stages of consultation, planning, and service arrangement. At the beginning, we made suggestions about times and places that we wanted to visit and discussed the pros and cons. We also made several requests for changes to the itinerary, and Cuong would go the extra mile to accommodate our requests. He was a good listener and always acted in a professional manner. With a broad knowledge of Northern VietNam, he often came up with much information and ideas that were very useful for our itinerary. Well done Cuong.

We have an unforgettable private tour of 5 days 4 nights with HaHa travel to Bangkok and Pattaya. Our family have 7 people of all ages range from 8 to 60+. This is also my 8 year old son first trip to an Asian country so we are very careful when choosing the travel company for our vacation. We read lots of reviews/complains about Thailand tours from other agencies that the tours are so rush, lots of shopping, the food is not good and etc. As preferred by my best friend, we chose HaHa travel and we are very happy with our choice. HaHa travel and Thuy Ngoc helped us to custom the tour and consulted us with detail about the places we want to visit, the hotel we will stay and the food during the trip to ensure all of us have a great experience in Thailand. Thuy Ngoc and her team helped us to check in at the airport with all tips and tricks to Thailand. When we arrived, we were welcome by a very experienced and nice tour guide named Helen Tran. She is so kind and knowledgeable about every where in Thailand. Helen soon become our family member and my son's favorite. We learned a lots about Thai culture and history during our trip. Every sightseeing we toured, Helen told us about the history and the stories associated with the place to make our visit more interesting and meaningful.

My son is super picky with food and places but he told me that he likes the trip and he likes Helen because she is so nice to him. My family enjoys the trip so much and we would like to explore different part of Thailand again in the near future.

We just got back home after more than one months in Vietnam. This time we took a trip to northwest and northeast Vietnam with Haha travel . At first we were a little skeptical about this unknown travel company for most of us, who live in America. However, Bảo Ngân and her team had put our concern at ease. She and the tour guides have took care us, most are 70s year old, the entire trips. After 11 days and 10 nights, we have explored many beautiful places in North Vietnam as well as understood cultures of many tribes there. After the end of this trip we continued our journey to South Vietnam also arranged by Bảo Ngân and Haha travel. This 10 days 9 nights has took us to the countryside of south Vietnam where we tried many tropical fruits, listen to country music and met many wonderful people there.

Overall we had a pleasant vacations from the North Vietnam to the southernmost of Vietnam all thanks to the care of Bảo Ngân, tour guide in the north, Thập, and Hoàng, in the south. On behalf of our group, I would like to thanks Bảo Ngân and Haha travel have made our vacation a memorable one.
