Our experience at the Rehahn Photography Gallery in Saigon was nothing short of magical! From the moment we walked in, Ms. Chau Tran welcomed us with warmth and enthusiasm, making us feel like valued guests. Her deep knowledge of Rehahn's work enriched our visit as she expertly guided us through the stunning collection, sharing the stories behind each piece.
The highlight was the opportunity to view even more of Rehahn's extraordinary works upstairs. Each photograph resonated with emotion and artistry, truly capturing the essence of Vietnam and other places. We were captivated by the beauty and depth of the images, which reflect both the culture and the people of this incredible country.
Leaving the gallery, we felt an overwhelming sense of joy and connection to the art we had chosen. We are thrilled to commemorate our wonderful time in Vietnam by hanging Rehahn's remarkable works in our home. Thank you, Ms. Chau Tran, for an unforgettable experience that we will cherish forever! We can't wait to see you again next time we...
Read moreI have lived in HCMC for a while now and in D2 Thao Dien area at that. I have recently, by accident, discovered a true art jewel right at our doorstep. Seeing few small art places around the city when I drive around but nothing to this magnitude. It’s astonishing that such a place can be so close to you just like your local “seven11”. But when you enter you transport yourself to a totally different world. Looking at the pictures it’s like you travel through different remote places in Vietnam but you are standing still. But it goes beyond that, you discover India, Thailand and Cuba to just name the few places Rehahn has taken his craft to. And if you believe in serendipity, like I do, you actually might get to meet Rehahn himself, just like I had the amazing privilege to do so few days ago. As he visits HCMC time permitting. Or you can go to his museum in Hoi An:) Definitely a must...
Read moreI loved visiting this gem of an art gallery in District 2. I was already familiar with Réhahn's work, so I went specifically to Thao Dien to find the new gallery. But it's also an easy place to stop by if you're shopping or eating in District 2. Have a coffee at Cafe des Stagiares (which is just above the gallery) and then come down to take in the art. Unlike so many galleries that seem stark and cold, Réhahn Photography Gallery was filled with color and warmth. I loved the addition of the colored walls that set off the tones in the artwork.
Some of my favorite photos were in the Memories of Impressionism exhibit. I particularly loved Flame and Echo. I also thought it was smart that the gallery has some nice gifts for travelers like their postcards and books. Definitely...
