Old town — Hotel in Bashkia Gjirokastër

The prices here are slightly lower than saranda and they have many things to purchase.

They also have a lot of things which are from turkey which is a bonus.

There are places to eat and drink here.

There are homeless cats and dogs in this area, so if you are a animal lover please feed them as they have not eaten for days. And the restaurant owners are pretty aggressive towards them.

This dog in the image looked so sad when we met him, we brought some meat from a shop in old town for him and he barely had the energy to eat but he did...

Wonderful historical vibe around the place, visited the castle for great views and information on the history of Albania.

Worth parking early outside of the town slightly down the hill on the main road in. Which was free. But also a pay carpark underneath the main square at the top.

Great little shops, lots to see and do.

Bars, cafes and restaurants with a great variety to choose from. Lovely...

Very nice cobblestone city can get lost into it. We went in a Sunday and it was still alive ! A lot of shops and restaurants...
