My name is KIKI. I stayed here for 14 days. My husband and the location is absolutely great on the main Boulevard with the picture of Evita on nearby building. GREAT VIEW !! Make sure to stay above The fifth floor. The rooms are huge. I love the wardrobe it had lots of hangers Which is unusual -usually you get two or three maybe? we had about eight lots of drawers too was able to completely unpack. The front desk was awesome thank you too ANNA, Angie, Natalia, Fabio, and Pablo one lady I know I forgot ( dark hair ) The breakfast I guess is more European style breakfast I paid for it with my stay but never really ate down there.( that I would not due again there ) If you want a full breakfast there are plenty of places around. The staff were all very helpful. The cleaning staff was excellent.
One thing I thought was weird that I did not find out till the end there’s a glass wine bottle shaped water in your room but if you drink it they refill it’s not a sealed bottle and it didn’t taste very well so after about a day and a half we bought our own bottled And they charged us for drinking that water. They said it was part of the minibar even though it was not cold or sealed so that was weird. If it was sealed a new bottle every day that would be different. I had two unfortunate mishaps there one that had to do with the hotel, and one that did not , they were both handled with genuine concern from the hotel. I appreciated this very much. Again, thank you ANNA and thank you ANGIE. great big windows and to be on the main Boulevard. You don’t hear any of the outside noise at all. Huge bathroom: great soaking tub with separate shower. Not a real pool (very small ) gym ( not even as big as our room) No one offered to help us with our bags upon entry or exit.
Great place to stay I would definitely stay there again.
Ps. Only complaint, USB next to the bed did not work, and that was very inconvenient When I told it to Pablo, he said there’s nothing we can do. The pillows were way too soft. I had extra and still sank.. lol. Something that was really awesome that we were not expecting is we were able to check in when we arrived , our room was...
Read moreIt is the worst hotel I have ever been to. The internet didn’t work and they do not provide any substitute to it. The room was too dirty. I found hair in the bathtub, brand of sebum on the edges of the tub, stinky towels, dirty walls, stained and dirty curtains, all surfaces covered by dust - I even cleaned the room myself, I found rest of food inside the fridge and air conditioning wasn’t cooling below 24 degrees centigrades. The breakfast was apples, bananas; dried, old, tasteless breads, dried hams, disgusting coffee, cut yogurts, and some cereal to add. The corridors were stinking! The elevators seemed to be uncleaned for weeks, I found lights off all over, even on the terrace where you find a pool. The staff is unfriendly and, when asked to solving the problems, they behave in a cynical way inventing excuses. The maids do not replace the hygiene material. - É o pior hotel em que já estive. E escrevo isto estando aqui ainda. Evitem...
Read moreWhilst there is a concept that you pay for what you get, this relatively cheap hotel falls way below the standard the standard any hotel should be.
We booked to stay in for 3 nights, but only lasted 2 nights.
The first issue is with the breakfast - I am sympathetic to the situation and understand with COVID that breakfast is restricted, however, the hotel should not continue to promote pictures of a buffet breakfast on 3rd party websites if they can not offer it. Instead you are offered a paper bag with a fizzy drink, croissant and cake. We paid around £13 ($18) for 2 people each day for this. We ventured round the city and the price is not comparable - the quality is store bought and not great. I appreciate they are environmentally conscious, but I am not paying money for them to do this, I am paying for breakfast.
The second day we did not receive breakfast as they did not have it for us. We requested breakfast at 07:40 - which is reasonable. We were told to wait 10mins - I’d image to give someone the time to run to the shop to buy something. We waited 15mins but it still didn’t turn up so we left.
Lastly, I’d recommend that English speakers pick another hotel as there was communication issues with some members of staff who had no grasp of English at all, meaning I had to use an app to translate. I accept this is a Spanish speaking country, but to make life easier, I would pay a little bit more a book another hotel where the breakfast is better and communication skills better.
Lastly, on complaining via hotels.com, they contacted the hotel who I was told accepted that we had no received breakfast on the 2nd day, but refused to offer a partial refund.
Unfortunately, this is the very first time I have left a hotel before the check out date to ‘save’ the stay as it...
