Alameda Café Porteño — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

I called them 21:15 on Friday 10 of June 2022 asking for a simple pizza. I was 2 blocks away from them An hour and 40 minutes later (yes almost 2 hours later) I called them again kindly reminding them about the missing pizza (I am trying to not reproduce that dialogue, you can imagine...) They told me, yes of course wait for it... 15 minutes after that I got it, cheese totally over the whole pizza case and... in top of that, cold of course...

Summary of the story, if you can get your pizza somewhere else, save time, money and... a huge disgust, never ever try this place yourself.

PS: maybe someone from the Alameda will answer me back apologizing... Don't believe that, I've just check past reviews, they did the same, and as you see, they stay the...

Went in for a quick meal, and should have tried the pizza which seems super popular. we didn't want so much cheese so we ordered a salad, and a beef Milanese. The salad was ok.. nothing special or out of the ordinary but a very good size. The Milanese came and cutting into it, it was tough as shoe leather. Too much cheese onto, with some sliced tomatoes. They put a lot of food on the plate but no finesse. we ordered a Caesar sald to go with dressing on the side and it arrived as requested. I would suggest ordering the Veal Schnitzel next time... should be more tender. Service was prompt but the ambiance was between cafeteria and noisy coffee shop. Our night dinner in Buenos Aires went unexpectedly bad. I will say from the start - the service staff and the general vibe was excellent, the venue itself was great, the location is great. However. The central part of any restaurant is food. And it was not great. In general we are not very picky eaters, but this time we could not finish the plate(even half of it in my case) as it was absolutely tasteless, like cardboard. I have a feeling it was all frozen and then defrosted in microwave - i honestly was absolutely disappointed. The couple of empanadas we bought in a nearby bakery were much better than this meal.
