Park Royal City Buenos Aires — Hotel in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

We stayed for 8 nights in between Nov and Dec of 2024. The location cannot be better. You have everything you need within walking distance. I did not feel unsafe at any point (not that bad things don't happen). The staff is very professional. I wish I didn't have to pay for early check-in but the rules are the rules. We had a family room, more like a suite with two rooms and two bathrooms. The 'living room' had a pull out couch and a dining table, a fridge, microwave, dishes, cups, etc. The room was clean and modern. Comfortable beds. The TVs were a bit cumbersome to work but we were able to log into our Netflix account for the kids. The bathrooms were clean the water had great pressure. There is a store in the corner open 24-hrs so you can always get water, snacks, beer, etc. There is a supermarket across the street as well. Plenty of restaurants in the area, bars, bakeries, etc. If you rent a car, there is Parking on the same block for $20 USD per night. In general, we couldn't be any happier. Will...

Check in was easy with friendly staff. BUT what a disaster once we opened the door to our room. Junior suite…it’s dated. The couch had tons of stains (to the point we wouldn’t dare sit on it). On to the bedroom…The brown bed throw was full of stains (human fluid stains). So disgusting. The duvet cover was fraying and zipper was broken. Then we found 2 bugs in our sheets..not bed bugs but still bugs. I squished them on the already dirty sheets. ||We showed up at midnight but decided to spend the night cause it was just too late to look elsewhere. Our friends had a similar room and bed sheets were stained. We cancelled the other nights and booked across the street at the Dolmen hotel.||Until this hotel buys new furniture,bed sheets and take cleaning seriously, I would definitely book a room somewhere else.
