Saigon Noodle Bar offers a solid dining experience with a focus on flavorful Vietnamese cuisine. While the atmosphere and service may not be standout features, the food itself is the star of the show and makes this spot worth a visit.
Food: 4.5/5 We started with the spring rolls and grapeleaf rolls, both of which were delicious and packed with flavor. The freshness of the ingredients was evident, and they set a great tone for the meal. For the main course, we ordered the Wide Rice Noodles with beef. The portion size was generous—easily suitable for two people—and the dish was incredibly flavorful. The beef was tender and high-quality, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. To accompany our meal, we had two lemonades, which were absolutely superb—refreshing, tangy, and the perfect complement to the meal.
Service: 2/5 The service was mediocre. While the staff wasn’t unfriendly, they lacked attentiveness and seemed somewhat disengaged. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it did detract slightly from the overall experience.
Atmosphere: 1/5 The atmosphere at Saigon Noodle Bar is nothing to write home about. The decor is simple and unremarkable, and the space lacks the vibrant or cozy vibe that could elevate the dining experience. That said, the focus here is clearly on the food, which shines despite the lackluster ambiance.
Value for Money: 4/5 The prices are reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes and the quality of the food. The meal felt like good value for what we received, particularly the Wide Rice Noodles with beef, which could easily satisfy two people.
Overall: 4/5 Saigon Noodle Bar is a great choice for anyone craving flavorful Vietnamese food in a no-frills setting. While the service and atmosphere leave room for improvement, the quality and taste of the dishes more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a satisfying meal with bold flavors, this spot is definitely worth a try.

Read morevery attentive waitress and nice dining experience. i saw on here that someone had posted a foto of the menu, but when i got there, they used a qr code to link you to a website which for the most part only showed the name of the food and a picture. i found this less helpful than the other since that one had a description of all ingredients that made up the course. i will leave the photo here as well, though it’s necessary to verify if the course you are looking at in the photo is still an option on the digital menu.
the ambience was great, fun music, not too loud, and you can see them making the food in the kitchen! the food arrived quickly and didn’t disappoint.
i shared a mini bowl of meat pho and a bowl of the fideos tom xao. (adequately filling!)
i though the pho was nice; it was at the perfect temperature, had lots of cilantro and soft meat to accompany it, but i’ve had better. the fideos tom xao was good for the first half of the bowl but then just got a bit excessive for my liking. i would say the seasonings are good, it’s just gets very homogeneous in flavor. the prawns were good, not too chewy but they did come with the tails so i felt a bit rude removing it with my hands since the metal chopsticks they put out, didn’t provide enough grip. also the “caramelized garlic” listed in the menu is, is fact, whole garlic cloves, so just keep that in mind (thankfully i am a garlic fiend and ate [all 8 of them..] very gladly!) all in all, it was a very nice alternative to steak/potatoes/empanadas.. after a while you just need to eat...
Read moreI was looking forward to having some Asian food before my flight back to London. I found my trip to Saigon Noodle Bar to be disappointing.
The pork spring roll was probably the best dish from my experience. The summer roll felt dry and lacked flavour, even with the peanut sauce.
It’s probably my fault for not ordering the pho but since I was noodled-out from eating so much pasta during my trip I opted for the Saigon Bowl (rice dish).
I found that some of the ingredients (the pineapple and cherry tomatoes) weren’t fully ripe which put me off the whole dish, otherwise it was well seasoned.
The service also felt a bit disorganised with no cutlery tins for some of the tables and no small plates for our starters. The staff were responsive to ours and the other patron’s requests but we felt the whole experience could have been tidier.
If I’m back in Buenos Aires I would try the pho and give them a second chance but ultimately the visit was still...
