I will start with the positive:|1. Great location and a small, clean, somewhat quaint place. ||Now, for some reality:|1. Room: My laundry room at home is bigger than these rooms (this is not a “European thing” as I have been in Buenos Aires many times before). If you sneeze, in the room or bathroom, you risk breaking your nose. |2. Temperature: I don’t know who decided it was a good idea to set a general temperature for the entire hotel and impose this on all guests and spaces (there seems to be a Lord of the Thermostat Position in NH Argentina). Someone here decides that it is too cold and all spaces, including guest rooms, should be permanently heated, or too hot, and you are allowed to have access to the AC. I was either burning in a sauna (85% of time) or given the heavenly pleasure of realizing the AC was available (I was almost tempted to write a positive review when after two nights the AC started working). The general staff recommendation was to regulate temperature, hope for some natural air flow, and live with the location’s caos, scents and sounds. |3. I received one coffee capsule for my three night stay, also apparently decided by the same Lord of the Thermostat, who believes people should drink coffee once a week. |4. The closet is ready for you to hang Two clothing items. ||Overall, a dorm room gives you more amenities, better service and comfort. I am never considering an...
Read moreWe're booked in tonight and supposedly for the next 2 thereafter but will be doing all we can to be moved tomorrow. Rooms are tiny - no chance of getting unpacked and no where to store a case if you could. Initially we were allocated a room where the only window opened into some internal back yard with a view of back walls and ac units. Hotel willingly moved us elsewhere with a better aspect but no more space and we had to fight and repeatedly request a hair dryer and sufficient blankets.|Beds incredibly soft - expecting nothing but back ache in the morning. Not yet experienced either the well rated breakfast or the dubious supply of coffee pods etc reported by earlier reviews .. frankly hoping to be well away from here tomorrow so we can actually enjoy our time in BA.||For context we're in the middle of an extended trip around Peru, Argentina and Brazil and all the previous hotels have been infinitely better than this. We're not normally complainers but this is just unacceptable. ||Must also say the location is excellent and the staff have tried their best...
Read moreWe spent three nights, two full days in Buenos Aires NH Crillon. We had a booked privat daytrips for both days, (tight schedule) what I made here in Tripadvisor. Unfortunatelly first morning our guide did not show up, and after more message from the company they called the hotel let us know our trip is cancelled. So we were in trouble, it was impossible to book another daytrip for that day, we had no time, vehicle, guide etc... We were desperate how to do all the sightseeing in that day what was plenned originaly in BA. |The two lovely receptionists overheard our conversations, Huilen and Antonio offered us a help. They made some phone calls, and magically last minute found us a privat driver who took us to all attractions in the City, and to the Delta of Tigre River for boat ride.|We can not be appriciate enough to save our day, thank to them we had a wonderful hussle free first, and only day in Buenos Aires for sight seeing.|Also, I have to mention that the location of the Hotel is very good.|Highly...
