Rapanui — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

The ice cream is good and I can definitely recommend affogato. Unfortunately, the ordering is very confusing and for those who are here for the first time the staff doesn’t make any effort to explain what to do.

So you order at the counter and they give you a receipt. Then, if you ordered anything to do with the ice cream, you need to go back to the shop entrance and enter the other part of the cafe. You need to give your ticket to the staff there and they will serve you whatever you ordered.

However, if you order anything not ice cream (coffee, chocolate) - then they would probably serve you at the counter.

Tables are not get clean regularly - this is another part to improve.

Overall a solid experience if you know what to do and...

ES-EN Lindo lugar, un poco confuso para pedir ya que es en la esquina al fondo. No tienen servicio de mesa, las mismas no estan muy limpias (si sos detallista).

Café medio (cortado) y sanguche de jamón y queso (sin tacc) + 1/4 de helado:

-El café meh no es Espresso simplemente es de máquina (no es la gran cosa). ❌ No me agradó que sirvieron en vaso descarteble ni tampoco den vasito con agua/soda. Si querés, tenés que pararte y buscar al lado de la puerta de ingreso agua fría.

-El sanguche espectacular, muy rico sabor tenía como doble queso. Volvería a pedirlo sin duda. 👎 Lo malo es que tenía cáscara de huevo el pan ❌

-El helado 🍦 pedimos tramontana (de los mejores de la vida. ❌ Tenía un pedazo de telgopor) y cholotae 80% RIQUÍSIMO.

El ambiente dentro de todo tranquilo, me gusta que está a temperatura tranquila y no es una heladera (al salir no sentís una ola intesa de calor), los baños limpios y amplios, con sostenedor de bolso.

Lindo lugar pero tiene esos puntos a mejorar

Nice place, a little confusing to order since it's on the corner at the back. They don't have table service; tables aren't very clean (if you're a stickler for detail). Mid coffee (coffe with a dash of milk) and ham and cheese sandwich (gluten-free) + 1/4 ice cream: -The coffee is meh, it's not Espresso, just machine-made ( not a big deal). ❌ I didn't like that they served it in a disposable cup, nor do they give you a shot of water/soda. If you want it, you have to stand up and look next to the entrance door for cold water.

-The sandwich was spectacular, it tasted very good, it had like double cheese. 👎 The bad thing is that the bread had eggshells ❌

-The ice cream 🍦 we ordered Tramontana (one of the best ever. ❌ It had a piece of Styrofoam) and 80% cholotae, DELICIOUS.

The atmosphere inside is calm, I like that it is at a calm temperature and not freeze (when you leave you do not feel an intense heat wave), the bathrooms are clean and spacious, with a bag holder.

Best ice creams in Argentina! If you are visiting please go! I don’t particularly like ice cream but these are something else! They are simply delicious!! I even booked a hotel nearby to go every day! Try all the ones you can but their signature is Franui (which they also sell and export abroad): there is both the icecream and some chocolate covered ice cream balls that come in a box. I recommend you try the ice cream first!!! I also recommend anything with dulce de leche and anything with chocolate! The coffee is really good too (and they sell it in small packages). Their chocolates are delicious, try them all. I am in love...
