SF Suites — Hotel in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Due to my work I travel a lot and go to many hotels. Up until now I always used Tripadvisor to choose my hotels according to the reviews; however, I have always been lazy to write my own comments about a hotel I'd stayed in. But SF suites made me change my laziness and actually write something about it.||Overall the facilities of the hotel are good. I stayed in the "suite familiar" and it's a nice 1 bedroom apartment of Buenos Aires. Lacking of few things (such as linen for the 2 couches, I assume you have to ask for it if you need to have "family" in your room, and if you are lucky and can handle the inoperativeness of the front desk skills, maybe you'll get them), there are no dish towells in the kitchen and small things).||The area is ok. I dont blame the noise because that is something that you need to expect if you happen to stay downtown Buenos Aires. The room I stayed in is not facing the street so maybe the noise is lower. They put 2 glass windows (not really pro ones) and that helps isolate the noise. The view is not nice (but expect that to other 3 or even 4 stars hotels in Buenos Aires).||The very negative side of this hotel is the STAFF and the conditions they give to guests.||They make you pay at the check in, and when you ask why, they tell you that EVERY HOTEL does it. Well, apparently they havent been around to other hotels so much, because most of the hotels all over the world, they dont do that. I suggested them to put that information in the website, and Laura (front desk most incapable person I have ever met and she is also proud of it) mentioned they dont do that because is not right (go figure). If guests know that they are going to be charged in advance, maybe they'll think twice. ||I didnt pay when I did the check in because I had dollars and it was 3 am, so I said the next day I will pay. Then next day another front desk "inoperative" and rude clerk that works at night reminds me in a very "nice" way that I need to do this right away. As I told him: I wont run off and i am not thief (that's how I felt).||I have few other stories like these in the 4 days I stayed here but they go beyond the review.||If you stay here expect the staff to be rude, unpolite, they treat you like you are a thief and you owe them something because they are giving you their time. They like to fight back even when they are wrong and they refuse to apologize when they make mistakes (Laura gave me the total of 5500 pesos first and I told her to check again and then the bill suddenly came down to 1500 pesos but hey....who sees the difference??) I've spent one night in this central apart hotel situated at the city center of Buenos Aires, on the Santa Fe avenue and at just one block from the 9 de Julio avenue.||||I've been delighted by the size of the apartment, almost 40 sq feet with a very spacious sitting room with dining table and a separated bedroom with high quality matress. There is a very comfortable wall to wall wardrobe with hangers, shelves and security box.||||Both the sitting room and the bedroom have a TV with cable connection.||||The separated kitchen is fully equipped with fridge with freezer, gas stove kitchen, microwave, coffee and toaster. The cutlery is complete (even champagne and wine glasses) and every was very tide and clean.||||There are a bath tub bathroom with basin and toilet and a separated toilet with basin for visitors.||||A must is the balcony facing the city very sunny and comfortable.||||This is a very good option for people coming for work, or families that could optimize the price of a hotel room for a real apartment.||||I highly recommend it for people traveling for a few days in Buenos Aires or staying for longer periods.||||Juan...

Me hospede por casi 1 mes, la decisión de mi elección fue primeramente porque estaba a 1 cuadra de mi trabajo y porque al ser departamentos me daba la libertad de cocinar y no depender de comprar comida hecha y/o pedir room service.||La estadía fue buena, me gustaría decir que fue excelente pero algunos inconvenientes (que quiero creer que fueron excepción y no pasan siempre) opacaron un poco la estadía, tuvimos en diferentes oportunidades cortes de agua, tanto fría como caliente, los cuales no fueron avisados, entonces uno se encontraba listo para entrar a ducharse y luego salir a trabajar, con los minutos contados y oh! sorpresa! no hay agua!, otro día, me levanto a las 5 am para salir para mi trabajo y se había cortado la luz en el edificio, llamo a recepción y el recepcionista nocturno no tenia ni la mas mínima idea si las escaleras de emergencia tenían luz (para su información, NO, no tenían, va... si tenían pero estaban apagadas y cuando las quise prender se desprendieron del techo, demás esta decir que intente 1 sola y después no toque nada mas), Tuve que molestar a mi novio para que me ayude a bajar iluminadome con un celular para bajar por las escaleras, una vez en el lobby la puerta de entrada (la cual se abre con una tarjeta), se encontraba cerrada sin poder abrirla, el Sr. de turno en la recepción estaba tan pero tan pero tan perdido que no sabia que hacer, mi novio termino tirándose al piso y desconectando la batería para poder abrir la puerta, demás esta decir que llegue tarde a mi trabajo y nadie me devuelve el presentismo que me descontaron por ese inconveniente, ni siquiera tuve una disculpa por parte del staff del establecimiento por todo lo sucedido.||||El departamento en si es cómodo, las habitaciones y los ambientes son amplios, la limpieza tendría que ser un poco mas exhaustiva, cuando llegamos encontramos 2 carozos de ciruelas abajo del sillón y en la cocina los platos estaban guardados pero sucios.||||Si volvería porque como dije antes es cómodo en cuanto a los ambientes y esta muy bien ubicado pero si ajustaría un poco algunas cosas para tener un backup cuando pasen.||||Otro tema es que me parece que los recepcionistas deberían saber los negocios de la zona, no puede ser que uno le pregunte donde hay una casa de pastas y que para todo la respuesta sea esta el Disco acá a la vuelta.||||Otro tema es que no hay luz en el balcón, no solo no hay luz, están los cables colgando, lo cual es un peligro totalmente.||||Vale destacar que el mobiliario del departamento es de excelente calidad y en...
