Great location, helpful & professional staff. Breakfast is good, though very limited options. It's more like an Italian breakfast, i.e. very few hot options but plentiful pastry and sweets.
The room doesn't seem to have any sound proof. It's not just the outside noise, but also from the nextdoor. I could hear the nextdoor's conversation on the phone very clearly as they put the speaker on. The phone speaker shouldn't be powerful enough to penetrate the walls, unless the walls are paper-thin. The toilet activities and water running noise is not an exception either.
I stayed in June (winter-ish), so the air con only blew warm air. The room temperature was too high for my likings, so I had to open the windows instead, and that would let in the outside noise.
The bed is crying for a change. It droops on one side where people have been sitting on it for the last few decades.
To be fair, I got a good deal for this booking, so I can re-adjust my expectations. I could compromise on the noise as I always carry earplugs with me, but the drooping bed is a...
Read moreSomehow NH decided to update certain things and not others. Room was small and the bathroom was too tiny. I got another room at an even older tower. Staff was somewhat with unexciting guest behavior. Not bad just apparently not that trained as some other hotels in Argentina. I must say maybe the bell boy and 1 of front desk staff were the better ones. The rest were just non chalantly going about their day. The restaurant ambiance and maybe the lobby were renovated a few years ago and parts of the rooms were too. The rest is very 1980s. The TV was great. In many areas you notice the wear and tear. My room had the bathroom ceiling about to fall off at the corner. I get that this doesn't charge high but of they had I'd checked out same day. They have a Sheraton that competes with them and that hey hey only somewhat get an advantage due to a central location. Sheraton is across from a mall though. I hope another hotel in...
Read moreGood location but the hotel is dated and due for a renovation; half the walls covered in wood paneling like the 80's. Air Condition is loud and sounds like it will breakdown any second. Room doors have to be slammed shut. Avoid rooms by the elevator as it is very loud. Great price hotel room but additional services are ridiculously over priced. Beautiful view of the Cordoba city with the Cordoba hills in the background. Staff spoke decent english which helped us. Check in was very slow as they that to add us to the NH database. There are 2 signs hanging on the inside door, 1 the standard do not disturb and the 2 was to clean our room. We didn't put any signs on the door and were surprised to see our room cleaned. 5 mins walk to old town and a large shopping centre. 7 mins wall to Guimes which is a hip fun area full of cafes restaurants and bars. Would stay here again if price was...
