Had the Malaysian Flow Sarapan (Nasi Lemak with Roti) for $27.90. The positives: The roti, curry sauce and coconut rice were delicious. The service staff were also quite helpful and tried their best. The negatives: Firstly, for almost $30 you do not even get fried anchovies which are an essential part of a nasi lemak (I asked and the kitchen does not even stock them). Secondly, I came here to try the meal "flow Sarapan" based on previous photos posted in Google reviews but was surprised to see that they have swapped out the fried chicken drumstick that used to come with the meal for a cheap HALF cut of a tiny thin crumbed chicken schnitzel , again this is not like a nasi lemak at all. The change I'm guessing is a cost cutting measure but it greatly affects the experience (to be fair to the resturant, they have updated the menu description to say that it's a crumbed chicken, however, I did not see that before ordering otherwise I wouldn't have ordered this) I did ask the kitchen if a fried chicken was possible but it wasn't. Thirdly, the whole dish was too sweet, I'm not sure if it was the sambal as I mixed it all together with everything but something was making everything too sweet. As itself it was a decent tasting dish but should not be labelled as nasi lemak as it is missing important elements. Overall, this is a tasty dish but don't expect anything near an authentic nasi lemak experience, also quite expensive for what you get, especially due to the small and cheap protein portion.

Visited on Good Friday for a quiet morning brunch, and it was just what I needed! The atmosphere was calm, the view was lovely, and the food really hit the spot. The curry was delicious—full of flavour—but I would’ve liked a bit more of that sauce for the price. The bacon was cooked to perfection—not fatty, not dry, just that nice tender middle ground I love. I also wouldn’t have minded a bit more spinach, but the sourdough was excellent. The real star for me, though, was the smoothie—I think it was the Berry Bliss. So good! Flow 36 is such a great place to relax, enjoy a good meal, and soak in the chilled-out vibe. Bonus points for the great variety of Asian dishes on the menu too!

Great location and considering how busy - service was mixed, food was generally good!! On arrival wait staff walked past us and it took some time to be welcomed… We had a dog with us (thank you to the gentleman who offered a water dish), however staff did not ask our seating preference (we had booked). Ordered Burgers (good) and a Thai Red Curry with Prawns (excellent) Also ordered a coffee and chocolate croissant - both average. Coffee spilled, but no offer to fix or a serviette :(. Croissant was doughy - not flaky and was a disappointment. Terrific set of food options on offer and food came out quickly:) Recommended - mostly for the location and some food!

Hi, I go on a walk with my friend quite often along the waterfront in Bunbury. We saw this place looked at the menu and its location and have wanted to try this new place for a little while now. My brother was coming down for his birthday from Perth, and I said to him let’s check out this new place. Boy do I wish we had of chosen differently. The menu looked impressive we love Asian dishes and spice so this was up our ally. I chose the katsu burger and I got my kids Mac and cheese nachos and a chicken burger my partner got the honey soy chicken. Then my brother Order straight after us, he got some fried dumplings and a curry. We also got drinks such as juice for the kids and my brother and partner got soft drinks. I got a juice. (Which come to think of it I never recieved) We waited 15 minutes and the drinks came out. (Not mine) Then shortly after that my partners the honey soy chicken came out. I had some quite delicious and crunchy chicken delicious. We then waited another 10 minutes where my brothers dumplings had come out and my partner had pretty much finished his meal. The Mac and cheese came out for my daughter with the dumplings. I was pretty hungry at this point and tried some of my daughter’s Mac and cheese. My brother being a chef and runs a restaurant in Perth wanted to see what the hold up was. He politely went up to the front of house and asked how much longer it might be as our orders have come out a different times and we are waiting for the rest of the kids meals. There wasn’t an apology just excuses. My brother can back to the table when my burger finally came out after 30 minutes of waiting. Mind due my partner already finished his. My chicken was cold and rubbery and I was so hungry I tried my best to eat it but couldn’t anymore. My kids meals came out so I told the lady that my chicken was cold and I didn’t get a response she looked at us and walked away. That’s when we started getting upset with the lack of compassion from the team members. Asked for the manager to share our complaint and his attitude was quite disgusting he tried to involve other people from the other tables and they were like please don’t involve us. I started recording on my phone because he asked my brother to hit him and threaten him also started making smart remarks saying your a chef come in the back and cook for your meal and I’ll pay you. I’ve got lots of money don’t worry about that. I said my chicken was cold he said I’ll make you another I said no don’t worry about it I’d like a refund and he didn’t like that. We were not happy by his attitude and approach that because of the way he spoke and handled the situation towards us we asked for a refund. He got very heated and started playing a race card saying we were treating him this way because he was Asian when not at one point whatsoever we ever made any remarks like that. It was totally unnecessary. My partner tried to diffuse the problem because he was actually looking out for this man and could see how loud he was getting around other customers and a few of them asked him to be quiet. So my partner said can we please go outside where it’s calm and come up with a solution his whole kitchen staff at this point came out and yelled at him and told him to get out of the shop. And approached my brother at the table where my kids were in front of my kids demanding to know where he works. It was actually so disgusting and like I just can’t believe my very eyes what was happening I have it all on record because it was actually so appalling to say the least I wouldn’t recommend this place. We were so hungry went across the road to last slice got so many tacos and fried and served...

OMG!!! Where do I start? I normally have breakfast here, which is fabulous, with the morning sun coming up, looking over the water at the boats. Such a lovely atmosphere here with very friendly and helpful staff, but tonight I decided to come for an evening meal as the sun went down on a beautiful balmy April night with no wind. I sat outside on the comfortable chairs and ordered a garlic veggie combo with chicken meat and prawns and some special fried rice to go with it. I was so amazed at the wonderful new flavours they created and how fresh everything was and how crispy the vegetables were. The staff are so lovely and friendly here and so helpful and the atmosphere is absolutely first class …I am so happy I came for dinner and will definitely be returning for many many many many many more evening meals here. I guarantee if you try flow 36 you definitely won’t be disappointed. I can’t say enough good things about them and the fantastic super delicious cuisine they serve up so punctually. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Geoff Lipton (...
