Park Lane Restaurant — Restaurant in Bundaberg West

We (literally) stumbled upon this place whilst we were looking for a place to dine in at the last minute, after checking in to our accommodation (we didn't stay at Park Lane). The meals here were amazing! Between 4 adults and one child, we ordered a t-bone steak with mushroom sauce, the garlic prawns, 2x Fish of the Day, and a kids crumbed chicken. The food was wonderful, beautifully cooked, and well presented. The fish was pan-cooked barramundi, which melted in the mouth, and came with a delicious home-made tartere sauce. The t-bone was tender and juicy, as was the chicken. The prawns were delicious. Our compliments to the chef. We could taste your passion. Spent 3 nights in Bundaberg at the Oscar motel, we managed to stumble apon the park lane restaurant by chance, and it was the best thing we ever did! 2 out of the 3 nights, we ended up dining in at the restaurant. The food was outstanding! Athough the menu was small compared to some places, there was a variety of options and the chef definitely didn't disappoint with the meals! Big servings and the food was delicious, we were served by a lovely woman named Jamaica and she made us as a family, feel so welcomed. Could not recommend this place anymore than I do. This is a small but well run restaurant in the very back of the Park Lane Econolodge. With only a few customers the service was excellent. They might need another server to cope with a full house.
