I’m not going to pretend that you dont go to pizza hut knowing that youre going to get a mid (sub-par) experience, however this was the first time going in bundaberg. The pizza hut over in chatswood where I live is a step up and way better. Walking in, the store seemed fine, clean etc. nothing wrong there, then it came to ordering, we ordered a pasta bundle that advertised 1 large pizza, 1 large pasta and 1 drink. Customer service was friendly but it took a while for the first server to realise they couldnt find the bundle, only for them to grab a second who couldn’t and then a third who had to come back twice to finalise the order. Even with all these issues, the end order was roughly $16 over the expected price (including a sunday surcharge of $6 which shouldnt be a thing in the first place). Didn’t complain, the store was getting busy but I was happy to leave a scalding review in the case of bad food. Glad I get to complain about it too, the pizza they gave us was one of their personal small pizzas (6” I believe, tiny thing but edible) and the pasta had an unusual foul taste. This was the worst pizza hut experience I’ve had, and I dont doubt the other reviews I’ve read prior to reading.
(Also forgot to mention, saw a worker touching the food with their bare hands, not a personal ick for me, but you, the reader, and ideally the restaurant...

This was, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.
Upon arrival, it took nearly five minutes just to be acknowledged, as staff were socializing in the back rather than attending to customers. When I finally placed my order, it was incorrect, and I waited over 45 minutes for pizzas that arrived burnt and with barely any toppings.
During my time in the store, I noticed multiple customers whose orders were either missing or not even started, leading to long waits and clear frustration. What was even more alarming were the hygiene and food safety practices. I observed staff handling food without gloves, touching pizzas directly, and placing hot trays from the oven on the floor. These are serious concerns.
To make matters worse, a customer came in to complain about her order and was met with hostility. A very young supervisor began arguing with her, and when the franchise owner emerged, instead of resolving the issue professionally, he began yelling at her. Only after the altercation did he refund her.
This level of service is unacceptable, and the food safety concerns are deeply troubling. I strongly advise avoiding this location until significant improvements are made. Easily the worst pizza experience I’ve had...
Read moreSpent $52 on 4x pizzas and 4x sides deal and had 1x pizza not delivered. We had to wait 45 mins for the 3x pizzas and the delivery driver was rushing so it was obviously a busy time so I get how the honest mistake happened but when trying to call 131166 number on google it just cuts out no messagebank nothing. Reported issue via there website portals and yet to recieve a response. I am not knocking the staff here as most delivery drivers are young people working hard to make some money often working hours where most of us can't even be bothered cooking dinner. I am just simply pointing out on a management side of things I'm sure if one of these young people did not answer a phone call about a shift they would be considered unreliable but a company who has an apparent net worth of over $810 billion can't afford to have a phone that can be answered or an email replied to when an issue arises?
