The Quarry House Luxury Retreat — Hotel in Hobart

What a luxurious escape away from home for a night.||From driving in to secure parking for our car, going up the lift to a secure coded room and entering into an open living space with large windows bringing the outside in.||A stunning bedroom offering a large king size bed that had the most comfortable mattress and pillows giving us the best sleep in a long time that made leaving impossible.||The generosity in the complimentary items was incredible with a welcome bottle of local wine, Whisky to enjoy, x2 bottles of beer, Norm and Dan chocolates, Local Ashgrove Milk, bacon, eggs, bread, orange juice, yoghurt, fruits, jam and a great supply of coffee pods for the machine.||Terry and Vanessa were incredible hosts who ensured we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.||We look forward in coming back again very soon and becoming regulars at treating ourselves.||Thanks...

Absolute gem of a place to stay - we hadn't realised until we arrived that 'luxury' wasn't wrong. Super comfortable accommodation with all the thoughtful little touches, well appointed and provisioned - if you can think it they probably already have! Breakfast, pantry, books, wine, bikes, even a way to arrange a loan of golf clubs? Bed was lovely and comfortable. It's on a main road but you wouldn't know it with the windows closed. Walkable to the heart of Hobart, or over the top of the hill to the gardens. Terry was very responsive and helpful! There's also a lift straight up to the apartments if accessibility is a concern. Would hugely recommend, or return if we go back to...
