Bumi Coffee is a fantastic Cafe with an Asian twist on the typical Cafe menu. A friend found this online and we decided to check it out. The location is a bit funny since it's next to the pharmacy and the Cafe itself doesn't really have a shopfront.
I ordered the breakfast udon, Kaya Toast and a yuzu coffee fizz. The udon was amazing in how they prepared it. The Kaya Toast was how I imagined it and was my sort of dessert. The yuzu coffee fizz was a little... Interesting to try. The yuzu taste was quite strong with the expresso mixed into it. My two other friends ordered the roti eggs benedict and black laksa.
The service was friendly and fast. Place is kept clean and I recommend anyone who's interested in a more Asian Cafe menu to check Bumi Coffee out. It's also amazing what they can do with that tight kitchen they have behind the counter too! Thanks for the brunch Bumi!

Read moreFirst of all, The Kaya Toast is the best go to sweet snack I will choose again and again without hesitation. The first time I came here, a gentleman looked at me after slurping down his food and told me how good is the Hainan Chicken Rice. So… of course I tried it on my next visit, and YES! IT IS THAT GOOD! The chicken was moist and chewy at the same time. My visiting friend from Melbourne even said it was the best chicken rice she had in Australia 👌🏻
For drinks, brown sugar coffee took me back straight to Indonesia. Same authentic taste, uh so nostalgic.
Def will be back more and more 🧡
Update: Tried the spicy prawn chili omelette, was expecting it to be spicier (I like spicy) but it’s not spicy at all, if you have low spicy tolerant then you can order it! Other elements in this menu were fantastic. The prawn is smoking good. They have special menu, the congee, it’s very good and...
Read more💫Hainanese Chicken Rice was good. But their sauces was not too special. I think it would be better if I did not pour in the chilli sauces. The chicken itself already tasty (not a plain steam chicken) without sauces. The rice was moisturiser enough. The soup was with chicken flavour, a little bit spring onions. I heard that this dish usually sold out because they have limited number of dishes per day. I went there around 12PM and they still serve it!
💫Coffee and the drink was superb. I did not remember the name of drink, but the white i got in the picture was addicted. It combined milk, pandan jelly and jack fruits. Highly recommended!
❣Overall, worth for value as the chicken dish was under $15 and food was full for one. The coffee and drink was at fair price as well. ❣The place is kinda small, suitable for couples, single or one small...
