I'll start by saying that should the staff not try so hard to be cool, that this place would actually be cool. I say this because when I took an old mate here for a coffee the other day for a coffee and a chat. I approached the counter and lovely lad (who was doing nothing, mind you) directed me to the empty counter where I was supposed to place my order. A few moments later a lass arrived from nowhere and I ordered two small drinks, only to be told that "we only have one size for all of our drinks". My response was very clear that I wished to have small drinks and pointed to the very clearly displayed set of cup sizes on the counter. I received a bemused look and a smile stating that yes, indeed, there is more than one size of drink on offer. The beverages were served quite promptly after that and it was a very cute gesture to have a small cookie on to of each beverage. **Owner has responded stating I had bonus toast!!! Toast normally comes in 2 slices not 1 slice. That is, 2 slices which may be cut into 4 pieces. They’re even stingier than I thought!

Missing toast but friendly service.

I had the raisin toast and coffee for $9. Very nice except I was given 1 1/2 pieces of toast only. Normally 2 slices cuts into 4 pieces and that’s what they did but only gave me 3 of the pieces! The coffee was lovely.
