I'd like to start by saying we booked pretty late, and as a result paid probably a lot more than your average room. It was definitely on the expensive side, and for that price you would expect top quality in most if not all respects. The apartment itself was fairly small. We had a 2 bedroom spa apartment, and it was just big enough for 4 people. The room itself was wildly under equipped with basic cooking essentials. We mentioned this to the staff, and they did everything they could to find what we needed, big props. It turns out the rooms are privately owned, and so if the owners haven't equipped the rooms properly for cooking and cleaning, it's St Falls who end up looking bad. We really appreciate their assistance with everything trying to help out where possible. Location, bang on. Literally doesn't get better. Bedrooms and bathrooms were functional but not efficient. The exhaust fans in the bathrooms didn't do a whole lot, so foggy mirrors was a regular occurrence. The sofa bed was also a bit rough to sleep on. We found that in order for it to be comfortable enough, using the doona under and over the top like a burrito worked the best for extra padding. Heated floors throughout the apartment were fantastic. No issues at all. A few things to note is that St Falls has only taken over from QT, so the resort is still needing a fair bit of work to get to what they are charging. Additionally the pool is not what we were expecting for a 5 star resort, more like a large kids pool. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, and think that even with everything, the location made it worthwhile to stay here.

3 star service apartment with 5 star price tag. Terrible sound proof, can hear our neighbours conversations all the time and the noise downstairs. Our one bedroom spa apartment view was facing the carpark which is very disappointing and I booked 9 months ago! In terms of customer service, there was none. I asked them if they can please give me lift to spa up the road because I have an ACL knee injury from DAY 1 of my 7 days ski trip, I can see the hotel buggy just sitting at the front from my bedroom all day. They said its not for guests, only for the staff. I asked them I have been sitting in the apartment for the last 5 days just hoping to do something to make myself feel better but the response from them was cold , hard: 'no, sorry we cant help u.' This is not a 5 star hotel service for sure.

One of the worst dining experiences I've hot chocolate, no milk, sugar or tea spoon. I had asked twice, once each for milk, then sugar, ended up using my fork to stir my tea, as asking a third time is B.S. IMO. Good bacon, good hash Brown, but very poor French toast, the worst I've had. Great location and good looking Restaurant, pitty the meal and service was so poorly, bitterly disappointed. Once you read the other reviews, you will see it's common place at this establishment, two stars is bloody generous IMO.

Our issue was not with our stay but with the fact this accommodation and their staff lack a level of customer care. We had this accomm force a cancellation last minute as they tried to extort more money a couple of weeks before we were due to stay. We booked more than 3 months in advance for 6 people and were in constant contact right from the start and paid a substantially deposit. This place was a 2 bedroom apartment and we made it clear there were 4 adults plus 2 children. They never mentioned any additional charges up front. However, a couple of weeks out after the cancellation period had lapsed we had the accommodation contact us and tell us that we have to pay $75 for an extra “bed” They continued to contact us and the story changed aswell as the price going up to $100 and then $150 for first the use of a futon couch and then a “per child” fee. This place caused absolute undue stress and we had to find somewhere very last minute. But the way they approached things lacked any customer service and seemed quite odd and off. We actually reported these guys to consumer affairs and the ACCC. Don’t risk...

What a fantastic location. You couldn’t go past this, right at the base of Halley’s Comet which meant not having the wait forever for the village shuttle - which we did last year because we stayed further away and wasted so much time. It’s next to falls creek sports and homebase to pick up all tickets and ski hire, and there’s restaurents, cafes and a supermarket literally next door. The apartment was spotless. Had everything we needed including a fantastic drying cupboard and good heating. We used the pool and sauna which was lovely. The people working are also super nice and helpful and they allowed us to check in very early and also came without delay to help fix our tv. The restaurant 1550 was also very nice and the staff there so lovely. But without doubt it was the location that makes it worth every $$. Thanks again to everyone there. We will definitely be back next year...
