Attunga Lounge Bar And Restaurant — Restaurant in Victoria

Poor service. Our 2 18 and 17 yo kids got kicked out from bar/lounge area because they needed room for guests paying for drinks even though our kids were happy to order alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Also at dinner the 7 of us got kicked out before desert got served after only one and a half hours because they said they needed the table for another booking! We will not be back. This is after more than $2800 being spent for 2 weekend nights . Unbelievable!!! As an addition to this review after seeing the owners response , there are 3 obvious lies

1. kids were told to leave , did not storm off. One of them is 18 and was entitled to use the bar area. At no stage there were asked to move and not go sit in the central area. They were simply told to pack up and go.
2. the manager was there through the whole time we were there on Saturday night until we left at 8.30. We left because we were told there was a booking after us and they needed a table. We booked this table well in advance and because of this could not even have our deserts. The manager was still there at 8.30pm when we left.The young waiter who told us to finish was very embarrassed and apologetic but said he was instructed by the manager and he could not do anything about it. Another lie from the manager.
3. the apartment was left in pristine condition other than we did not make the beds . We don’t drink or smoke, no little kids. We had young professionals in their 20s with us. We did not do any cooking. All the bowls from cereal in the morning were washed by us. So the fact that we left apartment dirty -that’s another lie. I should also add that none of the bedroom doors shut closed . Also the heating was set by the hotel, you could not adjust it .It was so low that we were freezing cold! If there was any doubt whether we would come back , we definitely won’t be coming back now. If there was a rating of zero stars , that would be the one we...

The location might be a bit obscure as you enter from the end of a back street. Though we were rewarded with a cosy lounge with piano and restaurant on an upper level with open balcony and view of the Bogong high Plains. I had dinner here on a Monday night. Eggplant chips as entré and Gav's local smoked trout chowder. My friend had the pork belly bites as main. All were well presented, tasty and with fresh ingredients. Deconstructed lime raspberry and pear, cheese cake for dessert was a delightful end to the meal. Toilets were very clean and there's a small area with things for kids to sit and play.

I think it was quality food at a very reasonable price (close to what you pay in the city) and personable service I think this is definitely worth...

Had dinner at Attunga on our ski trip, great menu and the food and service was spot on. Highly recommended for high quality great value night out.
