Chalet Alpina — Hotel in Jindabyne

Literally my new favourite place and home away from home ❤️ we travelled with our 16mo baby and I had nothing to worry about. Julie is so accomodating and genuinely caring, we felt so comfortable and safe. My dad, step mum and my siblings joined us for a night and we had such a beautiful time there. Julie gave us lots of insight on where we could go (apart from skiing and snowboarding of course) and my family ended up staying an extra night as they were having so much fun. Really wish we didn’t have to leave. By our last day, my son was happily holding Julie’s hand and following her around which is not like him at all. The service was fantastic and all our needs were consistently met. The rooms are comfortable, especially the heated tiles in the bathroom! We utilised the games rooms the most, there were heaps of toys to keep us all occupied and I honestly would’ve been happy hanging out at the chalet the entire time. Communal areas were beautifully decorated, super cosy and picture perfect. Breakfast was always spectacular and made just how we each liked it. Nina and Julie truely go above and beyond!! We will certainly be back! Loved...

Wow, what an incredible stay. Where do I even begin! We booked Chalet Alpina for a last minute snow stay in June and ever since then, we have been back 4 times with no hesitation to rebook again. We are consistently blown away by the cleanliness, warmth, homey and luxurious feel of this chalet and love spending our time here after and before our days on the slopes (which are super quick to drive to from the Chalet!). A 2 minute drive from shops, a AMAZING breakfast included (big brekkies, avo toast, burritos, museli, fruit, toast - spoilt for choice!), the world’s comfiest beds, adorable Chalet Alpina keep cups, an all day selection of tea and hot chocolate station and homemade muffins for guests to enjoy by the fireplace - this is everything you could ever want and more.

I rarely write reviews, but Chalet Alpina deserves one. Nina, the host, is truly the hostess with the mostest. Staying here feels like visiting your favourite relatives and never wanting to leave. She and her wonderful team go above and beyond. The breakfasts are generous and delicious and on mornings when you need to leave early , they even prepare breakfast to go with thoughtful options . The home baked muffins, cakes, fresh fruit and bread options so good!!!

The chalet itself is beautifully designed . Cosy, welcoming and thoughtfully laid out over two storeys. It’s the kind of place you could happily stay for days without even leaving. The location is perfect too. Just a short walk into town and quick drive to both Perisher and Thredbo .
