We as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed at Cayman Quays for 4 nights in January. We booked direct rather than through Booking. com or Wotif as it was cheaper. We loved the location and view from the riverside view apartment. The apartment was clean and provided all the equipment we needed including a well stocked kitchen with oven, cooker, microwave, decent size fridge freezer, toaster and kettle. The beds were comfortable and clean and the living area, whilst small, had comfy sofas, TV and dining table. The manager was lovely, very friendly and helpful, and it felt like a personable family run business. I was impressed with the free use of washing machines and dryers (with detergent provided) kayaks and bikes (although we were not there long enough to use them). Our children loved the swimming pool, was trampoline and play equipment and the large grassed area in front of our patio. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to families, couples or groups of friends. It was quiet and peaceful but with plenty to keep the kids occupied. A perfect location right on the river for boating, kayaking and fishing or to watch the boats go by from the comfort of your patio/balcony with a glass of wine. Not too far from cafe's and restaurants...a lovely walk along the riverside or...
Read moreI stayed here for two weeks resting - needing some respite from the consequences of a long term medical condition. The location was perfect. I could see the river from my bedroom, the lounge and, of course, the balcony! Being on the river side of Hilton Tce provided a quiet and uninterrupted view across the grass to the water. Perfect.||||I had originally booked for one week but soon realised this would not be long enough. Julia extended my booking with ease. ||||Cayman Quays is handy to everything. Walking along the river under the trees, soaking up the fresh air, and enjoying the lovely peaceful environment is definitely 'good medicine'. A day pass on the ferry was the highlight of my stay. The king tide (with surprisingly clear water), and the beautiful sunny day with a light breeze added to the experience.||||Julia, one of the resident managers, is lovely. She was very welcoming, helpful, and always smiling. ||I returned home feeling more relaxed and ready for the next chapter in my book of personal healing. ||I cannot recommend Cayman Quays highly enough. Stay there - you will not be disappointed.||Thanks for...
Read moreWe stayed 10 days and were very happy with the facilities - clean and well set up. The only problem was our bed, which shook and shuddered everytime one of us moved. I mentioned it to Julia, the motelier, after two nights and was told it was new and there had been no previous complaints. Julia and her son placed/replaced cups under the wheels. No difference. After 4 nights and having resorted to sleeping pills to sleep, I told Julia again (so wrong to take sleeping pills to rest when on holiday!) Julia's husband found the legs had not been attached properly. One visit to the hardware store later and the problem was fixed. I slept in a single bed in the second bedroom for the following 8...
