Absolutely do not recommend.

Came here with my family thinking we’d have a chill meal, but the experience was anything but. We ordered six cheeseburger sliders — a super basic, clear order — and instead got three BLT sliders. When we pointed out the mistake, the woman at the counter (rude, defensive, and completely uninterested in helping) insisted we ordered BLTs and flat-out refused to admit fault.

Here’s the kicker: they tried to make me pay for a second serving of food — a fourth plate — just to get what I originally ordered. I literally had to argue to avoid being charged again for their mistake. It was absurd. After asking to speak with a manager and explaining (again) that we never asked for BLTs, they finally agreed to bring out the right food — but by then the vibe had already turned hostile.

Staff were cold and passive-aggressive after that. I’m 19 and clearly look young, but they still served me alcohol without asking for ID. Not professional, not safe. I ended up leaving with food in my hand because I didn’t even feel comfortable asking for a takeaway container. That’s how tense it got.

The food is basic, overpriced, and absolutely not worth the drama. The new menu isn’t an upgrade — it’s just more expensive with worse service. The way they handled a small, fixable issue was to double down, argue with the customer, and try to squeeze more money out of me.

This place has gone downhill fast. I’ve seen other reviews mention racism and mistreatment — and now I believe it. That membership card I signed up for? It’s getting cut up as I write this. If you’re thinking of coming here — don’t. They’re clearly not here for the community. They’re here...

The new menu is bizarre and of the 8 diners in our party, we were all surprised at the changes. I've never called food disgusting before but this was close. We ordered the sandcrab lasagne, market fish, Szechwan calamari and chicken skewers. The lasagne was burnt, dry and not reheated properly (obviously made earlier in the day), it came with no sides (usually salad or chips in other venues) and cost $34! The fish was either overcooked or cooked in old oil. The calamari was so salty that the diner had to scrape the coating off and drown it in sauce to be able to eat it. And finally, because they've decided to not accommodate families any longer, we ordered a main sized chicken skewers for the children to share, which were very dry and had a strange taste, so the 4, 5 & 7 year olds left their dinner uneaten after one bite each, and we had to take them home and feed them before bed. This used to be a lovely, family friendly venue. Now it is overpriced and doesn't serve the clientele that it's designed for. If the average price for any meal on the menu is over $30, you should be offering table service, table cloths, and table settings, NOT ordering at a counter, bare tables and "take a packet of cutlery as you go". Customers are happy to pay a premium price for a premium product, but sadly this is sub-par. We have been visiting this lovely venue for the last 20+ years but, certainly will never go again. Nb: we weren't offered a refund but requested one for one of the sandcrab lasagnes, the manager reluctantly acquiesced. The service from the other staff was courteous and friendly and was the only redeeming quality of...

Poor Service

Would just like to recap on a very disappointing afternoon at the Noosa Yacht club on Sunday. It was a busy time as there was a band playing and the place was humming - the four of us were looking forward to sitting back and enjoying ourselves. After asking, unfortunately there were no more tables or chairs available inside, so we thought we would sit in the new outside area. Everything was wet after a shower so asked one of the staff for a towel to wipe table and chairs - after a wait had to go back and ask again. Were given a few paper towels and we did the job ourselves - no problem. Started to put up the umbrella that was by our table just in case it rained again and an older bloke rushed out and told us not to put it up as it was only for sunny days (????). We told him it was broken and would not go up anyway and he basically accused us of breaking it. His attitude was rather off putting and we felt like we were too much trouble. When we finished our drinks we left and went to the new bar and grill - Mr Jones and Me - and enjoyed some more drinks, wonderful service and a lovely meal. Money that was going to be spent at the Yacht club! Service is a wonderful thing and when you don't get it you always remember that you didn't and are likely to always go...

I can't speak highly enough of this venue for providing my mother with a 90th birthday occasion she will never forget. The food was an incredible array of tasty morsels ranging from oysters to beef korma and desserts. All of the guests were so happy with what was provided. We gathered at 12.30 and stayed right through until 4pm with dishes presented throughout the afternoon. We hired the deck which is also highly recommended with a beautiful breeze and view which also made the event special. Alex was an incredible host and nothing was an issue for him even when I asked if orchids that I had bought for my mother were placed on the table which she later took home to admire on her balcony. A beautiful welcome poster was provided as well. I look forward to returning next time we are in Noosaville.

This shouldn't be considered as a restaurant and the chef should be fired as soon as possible, along with the waiter. We ordered two eye filets, one rare and one medium rare. Both arrived medium, so I returned it to the waiter saying that it was not what I ordered. His response was shocking: "that's how we cook rare because people don't really like blood"! Then he brough back the overcooked filet. The veggies and sauce were disgusting . 0 customer service, 0 cooking skills. Don't waste your money there, plenty of options along the street, you can't go worse. That's a shame but you will never see me again in that place. Lucky me I only ordered the half portion, otherwise I would have spent $50 for an eye filet that is not even cooked the way I asked. The 1 star is for the view

We come here every time we spend the week at Noosaville. (As hubby thinks it’s important to support local community groups). And every visit I find there is one of our meals that’s sub-par. This visit they outdid themselves, with not one, but three meals being disappointing. The chicken schnitzel was “crispy” with beautifully blackened edges (see photo), the sirloin was that interesting shade of grey you get when you boil meat; and the prawn fettuccine was a culinary representation of an oil tanker disaster – the prawns were swimming in oil. If you want to support this community organisation venue, give them a donation of 50 bucks - that’s what I’ll ask my husband to do next time instead of spending $200 for five very ordinary meals.
