Ribbon Gum Lodge — Hotel in Sydney

Very nice lodge. We stayed mid-week in the upstairs section & there was no-one staying in the small unit downstairs. Good heating options for winter, although I would prefer a slow combustion style fireplace as the open fire burns through wood quite quickly. Located in a quiet area of Leura, no more than 5 minutes drive to the main street shops. We could hear trains passing on the railway line high above, but the noise was very muted & not loud enough to be intrusive. Would stay again. The owner was very nice...

Totally amazing property. Tucked away up Karimnala St. but so beautifully set in the grounds and trees. Lovely terraces and decking outdoor to enjoy sunshine and views. Interior of all rooms, Inc lounge, kitchen, 3 bedrooms are gorgeous and tastefully done. Beds soooo comfy. Real fireplace. Perfect for our 3 day stay. This is a great place to stay!

Had a group of 3 friends for a couple of nights. Well equipped, comfy accommodation with plenty to do if the weather is bad: books, (board & video) games & DVDs. Wasn't cold, so we didn't try the fireplace (need to get your own wood).

Centrally located. Handy to both Leura & Katoomba shopping centres but quite hilly, so a car is needed.
