Definitely showing who’s boss - stressful dinner dining experience… Large plates and good size portion, however the pad thai was too salty. The Thai red milk tea ordered came as just tea with syrup on plastic wrap. I asked for milk and the boss lady was kind enough to reheat the teapot and provide the condensed milk. However sitting at the back near the kitchen was stressful. The boss lady was shouting the whole time - I felt like Gordon Ramsey might step out anytime. Maybe it’s part of the name and the reputation? It appeared it was a very busy and perhaps stressful time for her with a full house and take away orders, as she kept rushing around and shouting at the young guy at the counter and the kitchen staff - ‘clean the tables, must be clean before sitting guests’ x30 times, ‘what you do to the order? Throw it in the bin!’, ‘fine, we can close if you want…you want that?! Anytime, we close!’ X15 and constantly telling the kitchen staff to hurry up. Needless to say, it was unfortunate the stress was emanating out as it was hard to enjoy the meal with that atmosphere. Which definitely raised a few eyebrows from other dinner patrons. To note, she was kind to a young female wait staff, telling her to stop serving and go have her dinner break. This was not shouted, but seemly in a caring manner. Let’s hope it was just a stressful night. I get it, you need to shout orders in hospitality sometimes. But it was c o n s t a n t l y, nonstop. Take a moment, reflect and reset. If you dine here during busy periods remember to go to the counter to order, some patrons were waiting for a long time before realising this. Oh and the tables were clean, so maybe all the shouting worked…but kindness goes a long way :)

I am a big fan of Thai Food and Pad Thai Noodles is one of my favourite dish. We group of 8 friends visited this place during our trip to Blue Mountains. We ordered Noodles, whole fish, rice and few other dishes to share along with few Thai beers. We enjoyed all the dishes. Pad Thai seems to be a bit over cooked and sugary but was yummy too. We tried Pork and Chicken Pad Thai Noodles, both were amazing and full of flavours, but I would rate Chicken Pad Thai top followed by Pork. Whole fish was a bit spicy but was perfectly cooked and full of flavours. All of us really enjoyed the fish with rice. Fish was well cooked, a bit crispy and yummy. Fish gravy was extra spicy but perfect for rice to enjoy with. Satay Chicken was mouthwatering. Perfectly cooked, and full of flavours. Chicken Hokin noodles with soup was amazing. The soup was full of flavours. It was so good enjoying hot soup on cold weather. Can’t describe in words. The chicken pieces in the noodles was so good and delicious and same with the noodles. It was my first time of trying Thai beer and I really enjoyed that too. It was Lunch time and the restaurant wasn’t that busy. The staff who served us was so professional and helpful. Thank you team for amazing hospitality 🙏

The portions were fairly generous however disappointingly, that’s about it. Having Thai food almost once a week, this place isn’t as authentic as some reviews put it out to be. Spicy calamari - not fresh Chicken skewers - cold and rubbery Pad see yew - far too sweet Duck red curry - tough rubbery duck Green curry chicken - slightly spicy, was the only ok dish The service was extremely poor with the waiter pressuring us to order (seems like the boss). Took them ages to get someone to take our order. There was an army of staff in the kitchen and when requested to take our order they replied “wait for that guy”… only person out taking order.. The 1 star given was to the young Caucasian man who kept asking us how is everything and if we need anything. He was the only saving grace of the place. Additional bowl of rice was $6 on the menu… it’s standard price and not holiday surcharge price. With dining back on the scene.. truly wish all the best to these folks… Not sure if the chef was on holiday when we visited…

Total DISAPPOINTMENT!!

Cannot believe this place is still in business. The service was the most horrendous that I have ever experienced in my entire life. Not just from 1 staff but from all 3-4 different staff starting from the poor welcoming without a smile and I hate my job look to the lack of communication or explanation its just find your own way to order the food.

Next is 45mins into my entire seating time and still finishing my food and have half of my drink left the other staff came to inform me that there are people waiting on my table when there are clearly 4-5 other tables vacant and no one was standing in queue or anything. Just minutes before that the same staff told a couple that ordered takeaway to wait outside as they were seating on one of the table waiting for their takeaway. I work in hospitality as well and I understand sometimes we want to get customers out and just want things to be over with but even I know that we have to give the customers reasonable time to finish their food first especially if I just got the food 30mins earlier and have not even been there for more than 1hr. I would understand if there were 20 people standing waiting and we were there for more than 1.5hrs or even 1hr at least and just playing on the phone or talking and not eating but that was not the case. Of all places a tourist attraction area like Blue Mountains I would have expected a more welcoming environment from the people around.

The food was nothing to shout about and even if it was that does not justify the despicable service. That was the most ridiculous thing that I have ever come across. If that is what the boss/owner is asking of them then that is the wrong way of moulding these kids towards the future of the hospitality industry. Would not recommend this place to anyone else. They cannot continue to get away with this just because they might be the only restaurant available.

Seriously, this business needs to step up its game in terms of improving the staffs attitude and how to treat customers and what to say. The boss/owner probably needs to learn as well and get some training for themselves too. It is a disgrace to the industry.

Would not go back there ever again even if my life...
