I really should have done this much sooner, as the level of service I received deserved to be promptly and publicly acknowledged. I visited this gallery in early February and made a purchase of two lovely ceramic items. David, who runs the gallery, was helpful, friendly, and went over and above with the packaging of the delicate items I bought. So much care and consideration was given to ensure safe transportation. Worth coming to Katoomba for this lovely gallery which consistently showcases very good local artists plus a feature exhibition as well as some unexpected treasures (typically by important Australian artists acquired consignment/auction). Warm in winter and always a warm welcome from gallery owner & adorable gallery dog, you can visit before or after a good lunch or afternoon tea on Katoomba’s interesting main street. Rex-Livingston Art + Objects is a wonderful place, a real treasure in the Blue Mountains. The owner David has an incredible eye and deep knowledge of art, honed by years of owning a Sydney-gallery before this one. Not only does he exhibit works of significant value and prestige, but also foster emerging and early career artists.
