We visited this place last Thursday night and it was quite busy. Booking is not really essential as you just need to walked in and you’ll be assisted to your table. What I like about the menu is that all the names are suburb of Blue Mountains and every food has its own specialty base on the different suburbs (Not sure if really base on but for me, good to promote local). We ordered, Bullaburra Pizza authentic Crocodile Meat with other spices and WentWorth Falls which is Prawn and herbs. Pizza is very taste and just enough to keep your tummy full. They have good serving size of their pizza and mind you, fully loaded tho for the toppings. Drinks is easy to order as they will hand it over after you order your drinks. Now, waiting time… 6:30pm we order the food arrived 7pm exactly 30mins waiting time. Reasonable and worth to wait but I wont recommend this place if your looking for fast food vibes coz the food takes some time to come out. While waiting you always have the options to have drinks first. We haven’t tried to order any appetiser due to very selective available in the menu but they have good food listed. We just didnt order as we want pizza. Staffs are cool and very accommodating to any request how I wish they can visit to tables to check how was the food or waiting for anyfood might be more delighted 😀. Local Pizza then come to Station Bar in Katoomba NSW!

Pub Manager colder than the beer! I stopped here with my wife and kids for Sunday lunch on the way back to Sydney. We ordered pizza and drinks and were just settling in when the manager sent a waitress over to tell our 2- and 4-year-old to stop being noisy. No tantrums, no screaming — just two little kids playing happily with a huge old red phone in the corner of the pub, pretending to call their Grandma. Apparently, even imaginary calls are too much for this place. The pub pumping out classic rock, full of adults chatting, laughing, and enjoying themselves. The kids were far from the loudest thing in the room — unless you count the irony. If children are such a nuisance, then be upfront about it. Put up a sign that says “No Kids Allowed” instead of masquerading as family-friendly while delivering passive-aggressive service. We left feeling unwelcome and disappointed. P.S. If a pretend phone call from a toddler is the biggest disruption you face, perhaps it's time to re-evaluate your definition of noise… or upgrade your sound system.

Edit: As you can see the owner is a petulant little child 😂 Calling their customer base “entitled” when really it’s them and their staff is nothing short of comedy. Keep up the good work, keep ignoring the reviews. You’re doing great lol.

We had such a lovely trip to Katoomba overall. Our (short) time at Station Bar on Friday night was the only negative experience we had. We planned to stay the whole night there and give the place a lot of business as we were having a girl’s night of cocktails. As soon as we walked in, without even saying a word, we were greeted by the rudest girl and were honestly gobsmacked. Her attitude was disgusting and she made us feel incredibly unwelcome. We politely asked to use the bathroom and she acted as though we had just asked if we could piss right there on the floor. After snapping at us to show her our IDs (We are 26 and 30) in a really rude manner as though we weren’t allowed in a venue, she then proceeded to glare at us from the bar and every time I made eye contact with her she was smirking rudely at us. We couldn’t help but laugh. It was honestly more hilarious than anything because we were just completely taken aback- we have never met this person in our life. She was brunette with long hair, but both girls behind the bar deliberately ignored my friend when she went to order a drink for quite some time despite not serving anybody else. We left immediately after one drink and went over to Bootleggers bar. They were absolutely lovely there. The service was amazing and the vibe was chill and friendly, not the bitchy high school vibes we experienced here.

After reading the other one star reviews for this business, it seems almost every single one mentions the nasty bar staff/waitresses. It seems strange that after so much feedback about the horrible customer service the owner has not hired new employees. Even though the experience was sour, we can’t help but look back and laugh at it. As someone who works in customer service I genuinely can’t imagine treating any customer like that. Then again, I don’t hate my life or...

WARNING: Discriminatory Treatment - Avoid if you are a person of color I visited this establishment in spring 2023 during a study abroad trip with my class. We were on a weekend trip in the Blue Mountains and stopped here for drinks in the early evening. I was 20 years old and properly presented my passport to the bartender to purchase a beer. My classmates and I spent approximately 30 minutes drinking without any issues. Then the owner or manager aggressively approached me specifically and demanded that I leave the premises. As the only person of color in our group of students, it was clear that I was being singled out based on race - my classmates were not asked to leave. When I questioned why I was being told to leave while my classmates could remain, the manager became increasingly aggressive and told me to go to the back room, seemingly wanting to escalate the situation to a physical confrontation. This was a clear case of racial discrimination. The establishment served me initially but then targeted me specifically for removal based solely on my race. I strongly advise other people of color to avoid...
