24 by Avenida Hotel & Residences Kaprun by Alpin Rentals — Hotel in Kaprun

Our stay at 24Avenida was excellent! We rent the Penthouse for max 8 persons with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, sauna and a big terase with a bathtub. |The bedrooms were big enough and fully equipped kitchen. |Our favorite part was the view because we could see the Kitzstenhorn in its excellence and of course the slopes. 24Avenida is close to the Maiskogel slopes from where you can easily arrive at the Top of Salzburg ( Kitzstenhorn slopes ) , also next to the accommodation there is a bus station which will take to the slopes. |We had a great time at 24Avenida enjoying next to the fireplace or in our private saune or bathtub. Everyone was nice and friendly, always quickly responsive to our requests. In my opinion, everything was perfect, the only mention I can make is a little bit about the cleaning during our staying, it was okay but could be insisted just a little bit more. But in conclusion, I would like to stay here in my every ski trip because our experience here was simply amazing. Also, I am looking forward to come back in the summer to try some hiking in the area. |Oh, not to forget to tell that there is a restaurant at 24Avenida with such a great food, especially if you like fine dinning and of course you should try sushi and their desserts! |I highly recomand 24Avenida for any kind of people. So, where do I even start. Have been to the restaurant many times before and was always very satisfied with service and quality of food. Yesterday was the last time I’d ever stepped my foot in there. I’m vegetarian and the options of burgers are - beef, chicken or vegan (with hummus and no cheese), so I simply asked if I can have the beef burger, just made with a vegetarian patty, since I preferred the choice of vegetables, cheese and sauces that came with that specific burger. Waiter said he had to ask the kitchen; so he did, they said yes. Burgers came, I took a bite and to my surprise I had my first bite of meat since 2018. It turned out, the gentleman misunderstood and thought I wanted a vegan bread with a beef burger lol, which absolutely made no sense. Didn’t really apologise and I thought the mistake will be corrected, but to my surprise I received yet again a burger I did not want - a vegan one which I tried before some time ago and didn’t really like. But the most surprised I was at the very end, when I had to pay for both of them - two burgers I didn’t want in the first place and all thanks to mistakes made on a waiter...

Booking: I booked this online at their own website, didn't pay till a few days before arriving which was quite handy.

Checking in: we arrived at the hotel and was told that we need to go to its other hotel to do the checking in part and get the key cards, I don't know if I didn't read the information they provided or I wasn't told this early, the "parent" hotel was round the corner and checking in was easy.

Room: the whole place is brand new and is very clean and amazing finishing on everything. rooms were good size with lots of storage areas for all the ski clothes. bathroom is on the small side and the shower takes up half the bathroom, shower is amazing. Kitchen is a nice to have but we didn't use it at all.

breakfast: breakfast is served at the 24 restaurant which isn't actually part of the hotel, don't expect room service here thinking the hotel has its own kitchen.

Other: you can store you skis etc in a dedicated room, two saunas, no steam room or...
