Now this will be an eye opener!: ||Recently stayed here and must admit as soon as i went to check in i felt extremely uncomfortable and got the impression that the lady and man on reception didn’t want me there (they either have absolutely dreadful customer service skills or have a massive dislike of the english!). ||Basically on check in it was; “how are you paying?” Heres your key, this is your room!.|| ||Not once did i get a welcoming smile, an explanation re breakfast, access to the pool facility etc etc etc. As a diabetic I did also find out that there is no access to food at the hotel and i had to walk across to the airport to get some food!||||Right now heres the gobsmacking bit!: ||After check out i drove to the airport to drop off my hire car and as i stood in the airport the guy from the hotel walked past me spotted me and mumbled some words, i get out my iphone to translate and he is saying “adaptor” !. Apparently he wanted back an adaptor i had allegedly asked for and obtained from reception!! (Which i certainly didnt!) . I opened my bag to show him my two adaptors i had (which were mine and issued through work as a business traveller!) i said to him, “your more than welcome to check through my luggage” to which he responded “i have your address!”. ||I have never ever been so offended by such a rude, sour faced man as this man and if i had had more time prior to my flight i certainly would have taken these allegations further! ||Needless to say as someone who travels to salzburg often with work i certainly won’t be staying here again (although i am that angry i certainly feel like paying...
Read moreI will never again book a property without reading T.A. reviews first. We arrived at the hotel without a reservation after a long and very busy day and after a 3+ hour drive. We were met at the front desk by a woman who spoke no English and then by a man who either did or did not speak/ understand English well.||||We requested a room that would accommodate three people (2 adults and a child) and were given 2 rooms- 1 with a single bed and one with a double bed and charged at least 1/3 more than quoted. When I explained that he had apparently misunderstood that we requested one room for 3 people, he said that the reservation could not be canceled or changed. End of discussion.||||Later in the evening we returned from dinner to a full parking lot and when we asked the same man where to park so as not to block other guests he stormed out of the hotel and pointed.||||Rooms were nothing special and were overpriced. Breakfast was adequate. We were not informed that there was a pool -noticed it from the patio the next morning and also saw a guest in swim trunks and with a towel refused entry to the pool area though it was past opening time of 8 AM.||||If you are near the airport check the pension next door to the Airporthotel- you will certainly get a better price, kinder desk staff to deal with and unarguably have a more pleasant and relaxing stay. Your car is also a...
Read moreThis was one of the worst stays in a hotel I have ever seen. Staff is unpolite, they even start shouting at you when you confront them with issues that occur during your stay. The hotel is outdated and still stuck in the 1970's. It looks like the hotel is run by a family and they are absolutely not service orientated, hinch the shouting when you check out. The breakfast is not self serve, you need to order most of the things you want. Staff speaks poorly English for an Airport Hotel. The staff (family) is rude and not open to suggestions making your stay more comfortable. No airconditioning in the rooms, which makes sleeping during the summer very hard. It tends too feel like a sauna when you enter your room. The smell in the rooms tend to be from the same era the hotel is stuck in. After making a complaint, staff responded: yeah, everything in Holland is better, which to me clearly states the way they rule the hotel. Will never stay there any more and would advise all reader never too book there, unless you don't mind paying around 170€ for a smelly warm room, with no service whatsoever. It's an overpriced, overrated hotel with the most horrible staff you...
