Honestly, the place looked like a freshly painted rundown old hanger.

The oversided baggage collection looked like it was a storage room with a hole in the wall for the conveyor belt.

The security checkpoint my partner and I felt like herded cattle on one side and dealing with a lidl chasher on the other collecting your items.

The waiting area had rows of blue plastic seats made the place look like a popup convention center. Duty free area was fine, food options were limited.

The entire terminal was uncomfortablely hot, and while steering up at the roof, I noticed a giant metal frame girder being held up by ratchet straps.

Security at Salzburg Airport was pitifully bad; ridiculously long queues! It is evident & very obvious that many tourists visit Salzburg at this time of the year for Chrhstmas festivities in the city & for ski activity.
