Das Wolfgang — Restaurant in Salzburg

Absolutely appalling experience due to the horrific blonde lady at the till. Was never more humiliated in my entire life also on my expense ! Hubby and I were travelling back to England and had time to spare so decided to dine at the restaurant. The young lady who served our food was lovey although she did not speak EN but she was super helpful and nice. We also loved the food, way too generous portions and so tasty and fresh. However I also purchased two lattes and as the milk was being frothed by the machine I could sniff that the milk was off. As it landed the cups it looked like cottage cheese smelly disgusting and curdled so I went to the blonde middle aged lady at the till and told her the milk was off as it was a matter of health and safety esp since ppl are travelling long distances and who needs a bad stomach. She denied everything and started shouting and getting really defensive and shoved the coffee in my face showing me there's nothing wrong with the milk and that it was fresh. I grabbed the curded milk with a spoon and showed it to her also the smell was quite strong and she started to shout like a loon and humiliate me in front of the other paying customers waiting at the till. I paid and left the coffees there and at no point she apologised or even offered us our money back or a refund or at least another drink!!! We were absolutely humiliated and robbed of our 10 euros which was abs shocking! We were absolutely disgusted so much so we left everything and left straight away. I am sorry but this type of bullies shouldn't be allowed to be working with people as they can destroy a business. If I had more time I would have complaint to the management of the restaurant and asked for a simple expertise of the milk as well as it posed a risk to health and also I wasn't making things up. Milk shouldn't look like cottage cheese or scrambled eggs and in the future I would educate your staff on how to behave and maybe train some soft skills and basic customer car as this kind of behaviour is never tolerated in civilised Europe....

Terrible service. Very rude waitress (the big, younger one). All I ordered was a soup and salad but for some reason the salad took 15 minutes after I was already finished with the soup. The waitress kept disappearing into the back somewhere. I finally asked for the bill and she just gave me a blank stare and disappeared again. I had to ask her colleague again which somehow infuriated her when she finally reappeared. She was deliberately slow with everything and totally unmotivated to provide decent service. Food and atmosphere were ok but the awful service ruined...

Nice restaurant with view of the runway, can see planes arrive and take off. They have outdoor seating for making the most of it when the weather is good.

Food was good, although there weren't many options. Service was good too. Prices were OK too, a bit higher than outside but that is normal for airport.

We ordered the burger, and the grilled fish. Presentation was totally 10 out of 10, taste was great as well, although it would have been better if they asked us how we wanted the burger done rather just assuming rare.
