Great stay at Das Zellersee for a week of skiing.|The Hotel is located very close to the station and bus station making it easy to walk from either. It is only a short walk to the main ski gondola CityXpress ,but even more convenient is the chair lift literally 50m up the road which has no queues. |The hotel consists of two attractive traditional Austrian buildings and has everything you need in terms of well equipped rooms and a fully fitted kitchen and lounge located in the front building if like us you are in a hotel room rather than an apartment. We last stayed at Villa Klothilde 15 years ago and we are pleased to say that it is still run by the same very friendly family. We had a very spacious one bedroom appartment with balcony which was spotlessly clean and had sufficient kitchen facilities if you wanted to cater for yourself. (We enjoyed sampling different restaurants) The gardens are so pretty and you can enjoy your breakfast outside if you wish. Villa Klothilde is in a quiet location, conveniently situated for the lake and town centre and 2 min walk from the train station (you cannot hear the trains) so there is no need to have a car to enjoy a week or two in Zell am see.
