AlpenParks Hotel & Apartment Central Zell am See — Hotel in Zell am See

No air conditioning. Have to open doors and windows which did not help the heat but welcomed mosquitoes and flies. Have to wear insect repellant to bed. No view. Power out in one of our rooms. No help after 6pm and no response from after hours hotline. Have to clean your own garbage but are charged 100€ on top of your hotel reservation. Fire alarm went off twice after 1130 PM. Went down to the lobby for the fire alarm and spoke to many other patrons who are experiencing the same. No reception or concierge present to advise on next steps. The next door restaurant owner was there but was not able to help. Went to front desk the following day to discuss above as was not able to reach anyone at night and was told the fire alarm was for my safety (which they had no guidance for), I should have changed my own breaker in the apartment to fix the power instead of asking for help, and they never advertised air conditioning. It was a very defensive and unhelpful response. Overall, it was a miserable, uncomfortable stay at this hotel for a family of 4. Would not recommend or return. It is basically a room with no AC, no help after 6, and little customer service or empathy. For the cost, can stay at a better place with a view, that has a real cleaning service and...

Wir hatten für einen Urlaub Anfang September 2020 2 Appartements (1 x classic und 1 x comfort) für insgesamt 6 Personen gebucht. Beide Typen sind sehr gut ausgestattet (z.B. vollwertige Küche mit Geschirrspüler und schöne Bäder). Der Schnitt der Apartments ist jeweils so, dass zwei komplett ausgestattete Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad mit einem dazwischen liegenden gemeinsamen Wohn-/Essbereich mit offener Küche verbunden sind. Comfort überzeugt durch seine Größe und Ausstattung dabei besonders. Die ganze Anlage ist gepflegt und die Appartements sauber. Eine Klimatisierung gibt es nicht. Zu jedem Appartement gehört ein Platz in der Tiefgarage. Die Parkbuchten sind nicht die größten, geht aber gerade noch. Die Zufahrt ist angenehm gut und breit. Alle Servicemitarbeiter sind jederzeit freundlich und unterstützen einen gerne. Das angeschlossene Restaurant wird in der Sommersaison nicht betrieben. Es gibt aber einen Brötchen-/ Frühstücksservice.||||Ganz besonders gefallen hat uns die Lage des Alpenparks Central. Alles in Zell am See ist fußläufig erreichbar (Einkaufen SPAR unter 100m, BILLA [besser!] im Zentrum ca. 300. Dort auch mehrere Bäcker und zahllose Restaurants (die PIZZERIA GIUSEPPE ist dabei besonders empfehlenswert, dort wie in vielen Betrieben dieses Jahr zudem auch außer-Haus-Verkauf). Größere Läden (MERKUR, Hofer u.ä.) sind per Auto in weniger als 10 Minuten entfernt. Eine Bergbahn (CityXpress startet ca. 200 m hinter dem Haus. Die Schmittenbergbahnen sind per Bus (alle halbe Stunde im Sommer) ganz gut erreichbar. Ebenso Kaprun mit dem Postbus oder dem Auto.||||Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Zell am See sehr genossen, Zell am See ist ein charmantes Örtchen mit allem für einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die in zahlreichen Bewertungen der Vorjahre unangenehm und als größtes Manko empfundene sehr starke Dominanz arabischer Gäste fiel heuer zudem coronabedingt aus. Besonders sehenswert sind der Zeller Seezauber (3 x die Woche Licht-/Laser Show mit Musik im See), die Hochgebirgsstauseen in Kaprun, das Kitzsteinhorn und natürlich die Wandermöglichkeiten am Schmitten. Bei letzterem ist der "Pinzgauer Spaziergang" empfehlenswert. Die Bergbahnpreis sind normalerweise relativ hoch (ab 25 € Berg- und Talfahrt) , das Alpenparks ist jedoch der Zell am See/Kaprun Sommercard angeschlossen, mit der neben anderen Vergünstigungen auch alle Bergbahnen im Sommer kostenfrei genutzt werden können - lohnt sich wirklich und ist ein dicker Pluspunkt für...
