Restaurant Zum Cäsar — Restaurant in Zell am See

Super tasty food and a relief to find a restaurant selling ‘proper food’.

We had got tired of endless burgers and fries available locally everywhere and finally found this place where we were able to get some grilled chicken, vegetables and rice. It was ever so good, well flavoured, light and tasty but filling all at the same time. The tzatziki which was super fresh was the icing on the cake and complimented the meal very well. This is what I call proper food, chicken breast you can see, not mushed up chicken and coated in breadcrumbs, then deep fried. My son had a pizza which he also said was very good. It’s not immediately obvious where the restaurant is, as you have to go down some stairs but we’ll worth...

Their taboula was good but chicken shawarma was so bad I have found a big chicken skin inside my shawarma and it was so disgusting, I called the waitress to show him and he was shaking his head as if he’s saying “ whatever “, I showed other person I think it was the chef and he said this is normal for chicken shawarma, he canceled the shawarma from the bill which was around 6€ but it doesn’t matter its only 6€ what matters if the food is clean or no. If it was “ normal “ as he said he wouldn’t cancel it from the bill. I really feel disgusted and disappointed. If they apologized and admitted it was not ok it would be better than keep on saying...

Auf der Suche nach einem schönen Restaurant abseits der üblichen Pfade stießen wir auf das Cäsar

Sehr nette Bedienung. Wir haben schnell bestellen können und fast genauso schnell bekamen wir auch schon unser Essen. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist sehr groß (vielleicht auch etwas zu groß). Von Burger, Pizza, Pasta bis hin zu Griechischen Essen und Wiener Schnitzel ist alles dabei.

Das Restaurant wirkte auf uns sehr sauber und auch die Coronaregeln wurden beachtet. Hier ist viel Platz , leider aber gar keine Musik. Das finde ich zur Untermalung und Atmosphäre persönlich immer ganz angenehm

Die Pizza Picante war sehr lecker und auch wirklich groß. Das Gyros mit Metaxasauce war nicht ganz das was wir uns erhofft hatten, da die Sauce nicht nach Metaxa und das Gyros eher nach Geschnetzeltem geschmeckt hat. Schade. Daher der Punkt Abzug.

Ansonsten aber ein tolles...
