Ive stayed in this hotel in off season at a very cheap price in their executive 3 bed room. Rooms are good, location is pretty strategic too but their service is absolutely horrible. My first impression of their room was unclean floor, broken tv and clock, geyser not working, stains on bed sheet and blanket. Though they fixed em up later but their staffs aint friendly or cooperative at all.
About the prime thing that is washroom, there washrooms ventilation is not good at all. It was pretty uncomfortable to use the washroom at times. Their high pan had stains on its seat indicating cheap fittings and lack of regular cleanliness. One have to ask them to open the Geysar line, only then they will open Geysar line of the room that your staying from their main line, unless it wont work and they didnt even acknowledged this in the time of check in.
About their breakfast, they have 2 types of room, 1 with breakfast and other without breakfast. We took their with breakfast room and their breakfast was absolutely a disaster. Their breakfast serving time is within 8 to 10 am in morning but they usually take 8 30 to 8 40 to serve everything. They serve boiled egg with porota for cost effectiveness. They serve fried rice but dont serve anything to have with it. Their orange juice is 1/3 fruto and 2/3 water which is too bad, and they dont serve tea ( at least i didnt got it on my stay period). Breakfast experience is too bad so if you are staying in this hotel its safe to avoid breakfast package.
In conclusion its a budget friendly hotel but if you are staying in this hotel then spending more than 3k per night would be irrational. Its better to avoid this hotel in...
Read moreThis hotel is only a few blocks from the beach of Cox Bazar down a bit of a dirt side street. It does have a number of rooms that have sea views so if you can get one of them that is a bonus. Check in was pretty easy and when I mentioned I was heading out to find an ATM one of the staff actually followed me out and helped me find it. Totally unnecessary but sweet all the same.||||The hotel rooms don't all have fridges, but for a mid priced hotel they aren't too shabby. Now I didn't sleep in every bed in the joint but my bed seemed find and the TV actually worked. Hot water out of the hot water tap too (as long as you've turned the heater switch on). There is an attached restaurant and other eateries just nearby. They can help with some simple tour stuff but it's not their forte. Some English is spoken here - it depends on the staff member.||||One weird thing to note is that they often won't get around to servicing your room until as late as 7pm in the evening. And they will knock on your door later on at night to offer to spray your room for mosquitos. Which is fine and all but on one occasion it was 11pm or so and I was in bed about to doze off. Needless to say I explained that I'd rather just be left alone at that point.||||Wifi didn't quite reach all the rooms but it is in the lobby if you dip out in that regard and I believe that is something they are working on.||||I would cautiously recommend this hotel to others if they can't or don't want to stay in one of the swish hotels like the Long Beach. There was some renovation going on at the time of my visit so it might be getting some form of upgrade...
