The reason it gets 3 instead of 4, is that if it was possible I'd rate it 3.2 at best. Hence, i putting down my foot on 3 star. The seafood clear soup which costs 305 +10%VAT was good and tasty and gets 3.5. Specially the minced garlic fried made it taste better. It had hint of just about right amount of lemon to tingle your taste bud, but not to make you quinch. However I am not satisfied with the portion nor the solid contents in the soup. It had tiny prawns. 2 crab legs of small size. even tinier squid pieces. And to show you how it fared I'm uploading the pic. The dory fish and chips gets 3.5. Fish seemed fresh. But the taste was somewhat- suitable for recently recovered patient. I think the chef need to spice up the fish a little. Maybe just a tiniest hint of lemon, salt, ginger and lemongrass for aroma. Now about the chips, when you charge 470+10%VAT you would expect the best potato for fries. I was served with chips which had black spots on some of the pieces. So definitely a no no. I woulnd like the management to instruct his staff o remain more careful about these issues. Salt special burger aka beef burger and chips was another item that we tried on our date night. Costs 475+10%VAT. Now once again the beef burger was not bad but i felt the beef needed little bit of more cooking. Perhaps the patty was thick and as a result did not cooked well in the middle. A simple solution would be to spread the patty a bit more to cover the bun totally. Furthermore, the burger sauce was not much of a winner. Tasted like cheap ketchup and that's it. I could have scored 2 Takeout burgers with the price of 1 from Salt special burger. So price and taste wise i would not recommend the burger to anyone. And thats why I would rate it 2.8. The place gives a good vibe. Seems a regular place id hang out but for its price and quality. However the restaurant seems to have seen better days. Check the sofa. It need refurbishment. The toilet was, ehh! The place we sat was ok but little bit more air conditioning would be better. I'd rate the environment 3. The staff waa fine as it is expected of a restaurant of this grade so a 3.8 for staff. So there goes it. Hope this helps you food lovers to decide whether to eat and for the restaurant...

It's a nice & cozy place. The quality of the food was good but some of the items portion size was less. Some of the items were really tasty but some could be better.

We ordered Large french fries: The fries were good but a little burnt. Crispy chicken cashew nut salad: This item was the best. It was crispy and refreshing. We ordered twice. The portion size was less. Calamari fritters: This item tasted very good too. It was crispy and fresh. Chicken Pizza: This tasted really good. It was juicy and cheesy. The base was soft and crispy at the same time.. Loved it. Fish & Chips: It was very good. Perfectly fried. The fries were a bit over fried though. Apart from the fries it was a great filling dish. Seabass & Prawn: This dish was below average. Although the prawn tasted really good but the Salmon was tasteless & a bit smelly. With the help of a lot of lemon I ate it. The biggest disappointment was the mashed potato.. It was totally tasteless. It was totally bland. Even saying a few times about the mashed potatoes to the waiters they didn't show any interest. The sauteed vegetables were nicely cooked. 7: Grilled chicken with mushroom sauce: It was a good dish. The rice was perfectly cooked. The chicken was soft & juicy. It was a great dish. Totally filling for one person. Mashed Potato: As I said earlier. It was tasteless and bland. Totally disappointed. Lychee Iced tea: This was really good. Perfect combination of lychee flavor and tea. Blue Cassia: This drink came with a twist. When served this drink was a different color and after stirring the color changes to Navy Blue. This was the best drink.
